Gunther (c) vs Jey Uso – WWE World Heavyweight Championship

The show kicked off with Triple H welcoming everyone to Night One of WWE WrestleMania 41. The opener, as we knew, was the World Heavyweight Championship match. Jey Uso, the 2025 Men’s Royal Rumble match winner, made his entrance through the crowd. The crowd was electric for this entrance and a few people were waiving YEET flags on the ramp. Uso looked more serious and wasn’tyeeting much. The Ring General, Gunther, made his elegant entrance and the action began.

Gunther brought the first chop, but Jey quickly replied with a right hand. Uso stunned the champion twice, and Gunther had to roll to the outside. Jey picked Gunther for a slam, but The Ring General’s weight worked for him. Jey ultimately landed the body slam and went for a splash. Gunther caught him with a chop on the top rope. Uso fought back with a spear and Samoan Drop. Gunther again caught him at the top rope and delivered a suplex. The Ring General followed it with a Tyrannosaurus Dropkick and a powerbomb for a near fall.

Gunther went for another powerbomb, but Uso hit a hurricanrrana, followed by a spear and a splash for another two-count. Gunther was frustrated, and he attempted to leave with the title. Uso went for a suicide dive, but The Ring General caught him with a title belt strike to the head while the referee wasn’t seeing. Gunther saw the opportunity and landed a splash, but Jey somehow kicked out at two. Uso also escaped the sleeper hold.

Gunther with multiple chops, and Jey replied with a vicious clothesline. Uso hit a German Suplex and a powerbomb. He followed it up with three splashes from the top. Eventually, Uso applied the sleeper hold and forced Gunther to submit. Jey Uso is your new WWE World Heavyweight Champion. Jimmy Uso joined him in the celebrations after the match.

    Winner: Jey Uso

    Grades: B+

Analysis: Amazing! Jey Uso’s dream has come true. He overcame the odds and won the World Title for the first time in his career. It was a little slow-paced match but ended with a feel-good moment. We wait interestingly for Uso’s reign and what’s next for the Ring General. The results came as we predicted at our WrestleMania 41 Saturday Night Predictions.

War Raiders (c) vs New Day – WWE World Tag Team Championships

New Day’s ring gear was inspired by the Giant Gonzalez, while War Raiders’ gear was inspired by Clash of Clans. The match began, and the first major moment came when Erik’s body slammed Ivar onto New Day at ringside. Ivar followed it up with a splash pressed on the apron screen. Erik attempted a suicide dive, but Kofi caught him with a right hand. Kingston and Woods targeted the neck of Erik. Kofi landed a knee strike, followed by Xavier’s double stomp.

Ivar got tagged in, and he delivered a back body drop to Kofi. He continued the assault with a side slam and a crossbody. Kingston hit the Trouble in Paradise on Erik. Ivar caught Kofi with a spinning wheel kick. Ivar landed a moonsaultbut, but Woods cut him on the pinfall with a Limit Elbow Break from the top rope. In the end, Kofi held Ivar while Woods landed the double stomp. Woods pinned Ivar with Kingston’s assistance for the win.

    Winners: New Day

    Grades: B

Analysis: New Day is a 13-time tag team champion in WWE. This result was totally expected, and we are looking forward to New Day’s run as hell champions. War Raiders are good with powerful moves in their arsenal, but a lack of character work makes them less intriguing.

    Jade Cargill vs Naomi

Cargill began with rage and threw right handson Naomi, followed by an uppercut. The action spilled to the outside, and Cargill threw Naomi into the barricade. Naomi delivered the X-Factor from the apron to the floor. She later delivered a dropkick and a blockbuster. Back in the ring, Jade hit the backbreaker and a superkick. A highlight came when Cargill met Naomi at the top rope and landed a devastating jackhammer.

Naomi climbed to the top again, and Jade caught her again and countered her with a fallaway slam. Naomi finally delivered her moves from the top rope when she landed a bulldog, which was followed by a split-legged monnsault for a near fall. In the end, Cargill hit a powerbomb and Jaded for the victory.

    Winner: Naomi

    Grades: A

Analysis: It was very physical and hard-hitting; it was a hell of a match. Jade Cargill has improved very much. Naomi did great work and carried most of the match as a veteran. Jade Cargill won and might go after a world championship after WrestleMania. Naomi should be rewarded for her brilliant work, too.

LA Knight (c) vs Jacob Fatu – WWE United States Championship

Next up on the line was the US Championship match between LA Knight and Jacob Fatu. Solo Sikoa accommodated Jacob Fatu at the entrance ramp. Fatu had the Samoan Werewolf mask on. The United States Champion, LA Knight, entered a Maserati. In the match, Knight hit a neckbreaker early on. Fatu countered the BFT and delivered a pop-up Samoan Drop. Knight fought back with a dropkick and a baseball slide. Fatu caught Night in midair and landed a power slam.

We saw back-and-forth action. Knight delivered a knee strike and an elbow drop for a two-count. Knight hit a German Suplex, but Fatu soon replied with a superkick. Jacob continued the punishment with three hip attacks in the corner and a Swanton Bomb for a near fall. Fatu climbed to the top rope and jumped for a moonsault. Knight caught him in the air with a BFT.

Fatu barely grabbed the bottom rope to save the match for himself. In the end, it was Fatu’s sequence where he delivered a superkick, a Samoan Drop, and a couple of moonsaults for the victory. The Samoan legend Haku celebrated with Fatu after the match.

    Winner: Jacob Fatu

    Grades: B

Analysis: It was a decent match in the middle of the show although both fighter competed at WWE SamckDown yesterday. Jacob Fatu is a treat to watch, and his skills were on full display. The Samoan Werewolf has his hands on his first singles title here in the WWE and is your new United States Champion. LA Knight should add something new to his character soon, or the fans will stop caring about him.

Rey Fenix vs El Grande Americano on WWE WrestleMania 41 Saturday Results

Rey Fenix replaced Rey Mysterio in this match. The action began before the bell when El Grande Americano pushed AAA star Vikingo, who was sitting in the front row. Vikingo replied with a kick to Americano’s face. The match officially began, and Rey Fenix quickly delivered a hurricanrrana. Rey followed up with a missile dropkick from the top rope. El Grande landed a reverse German suplex and several right hands. Fenix fought back with a shoulder tackle and a spinning kick that sent Americano crashing to the canvas.

El Grande performed a reverse 450 splash and Rey responded with a black fire driver. In the end, El Grande Americanoplaced a medal plate on his forehead under his mask. Hedelivered a headbutt in midair followed by a flying headbutt. Americano pinned Fenix on his WrestleMania debut. Vikingo checked on Fenix after the match.

    Winner: El Grande Americano

    Grades: B+

Analysis: It was a fun, high-flying battle coupled with several wow moments. Well, Chad Gable is winless at WrestleMania, but El Grande Americano won his debut match on the Grandest Stage of Them All. It looked like Fenix’s win streak could have gone longer. They had an urgent change of plans because of Rey Mysterio’s injury.

Tiffany Stratton (c) vs Charlotte Flair – WWE Women’s Champion

Tiffany Stratton entered in custom Barbie boxes, while Charlotte Flair entered in a Rolls Royce. The match starts with an intense exchange of strikes as Stratton takes Flair down to the floor. After some back-and-forth action, Flair regains control, choking Tiffany in the ropes and executing a figure-four head scissors. Despite this, Stratton manages to fight back with a handspring back elbow and a spinning spinebuster, but Flair responds with a neck snap and climbs to the top rope.

Stratton cuts her off, but Flair counters with a Flair Flip and a big boot from the apron. Stratton tries to keep up with dropkicks and a near fall while Charlotte taunts her with chops and demands a stronger fight. As the match continues, Stratton targets Flair’s injured knee and locks in a figure-four leglock, but Charlotte breaks free after a struggle.

Tiffany goes for the Prettiest Moonsault Ever, but Flair’s knee is still hurt, leading to a near fall. The match reaches a high point, with both women exchanging devastating moves. Charlotte hits a Gourdbuster and an Avalanche Natural Selection, but Tiffany kicks out each time. Flair attempts a scoop slam, but Stratton avoids it, landing an Alabama Slam into the turnbuckles.

The two women continue to fight fiercely, with Stratton connecting a Finlay Roll and attempting her signature move, the Prettiest Moonsault Ever. After another intense struggle, Tiffany finally hits the move successfully, securing the pinfall and retaining her WWE Women’s Championship.

    Winner: Tiffany Stratton

    Grades: A

Analysis: WWE WrestleMania Night 1 was on the Tiffy time. Stratton held herself in this match against the veteran Charlotte Flair. Flair performed like a veteran in this match but the highlight of the Night was Tiffany Stratton. She deserved to win this match and she did it. It is now time to move both of them to other feud instead of going back and forth which each other.

Roman Reigns vs CM Punk vs Seth Rollins Main Event Match

The triple-threat match between CM Punk, Roman Reigns, and Seth Rollins begins with all three men sizing each other up. Punk takes a brief break to talk with Paul Heyman while Reigns and Rollins battle it out in the corner. Punk returns, delivering chops to Rollins, and Reigns, despite his hamstring injury, hits a lariat on Punk. The action intensifies, with CM Punk and Rollins brawling in the crowd, using trash cans and other weapons to smash each other. Roman Reigns eventually clears the Spanish announce table, hitting a Samoan Drop on Punk and taking control of the match.

The match sees back-and-forth action as Punk delivers knee strikes, including a series of rising knees to both Rollins and Reigns and even hits a Doomsday Device with Rollins. Roman counters with a Superman Punch and a Spear, but Punk fights back with an Anaconda Vise. Seth Rollins breaks up the submission with a Frog Splash, then executes a series of devastating moves on both competitors, including a Blackout on Punk. Rollins continues his offense but is cut off by Reigns, who attempts to powerbomb Punk through the table. Reigns and Rollins then argue about working together, but Reigns ultimately betrays Seth, slapping him and powerbombing Punk through the table.

As the match nears its climax, all three men are worn out. Punk fights valiantly, applying his Anaconda Vise and Go to Sleep, but neither Reigns nor Rollins stays down. Paul Heyman, caught in a moral dilemma between his loyalties to Punk, Reigns, and Rollins, makes a shocking move. He hands Punk a steel chair, only to uppercut him in the groin and turn on him.

Heyman then gives the chair to Reigns, who viciously assaults Punk. However, when Heyman realizes Rollins is recovering, he betrays Reigns by low blowing him and giving the chair to Seth. Rollins uses the chair to take down Reigns, hitting Blackout for the pinfall victory, claiming the win, and leaving Heyman to reflect on his actions. Seth Rollins beat both Punk and Roman in the main event.

    Winner: Seth Rollins

    Grades: A+

Analysis: What a way to end the WrestleMania Night 1. It was Heymania instead of WrestleMania. Paul Heyman became the biggest prize on the Night one of WWE WrestleMania 41. Paul Heyman betrayed his best friend CM Punk for the Tribal Chief Roman Reigns. He betrayed his Tribal Chief for his newest client, Seth Rollins. This match was a pure cinema.

Seth Rollins was the right choice to win the match because he had done all the hard work in the past few years and deserved this victory. CM Punk got the most important main event spot. It’s time for the Tribal Chief to think about his future as he has already lost two WrestleManias with or without his bloodline and Wiseman. Overall, WWE WrestleMania was a great night as a wrestling fan.
