“Main Event” Jey Uso & Roman Reigns vs Bron Breakker & “Big” Bronson Reed

The match began in chaos, with all four men brawling as soon as the bell rang. The referee tried to separate them and keep the match under control, but the action quickly spilt to the outside. Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed teamed up to attack Roman Reigns, pulling him out of the ring and beating him down. Jey Uso energised the crowd, directing the action and hitting a big splash off the top rope to the floor, adding to the wild start.

Back inside the ring, Jey Uso isolated himself as Breakker and Reed took turns wearing him with powerful attacks. Breakker hit a hard knee to Jey, sending him crashing into the announce desk, and the heels kept Uso away from his partner. After a tough struggle, Roman Reigns finally got the tag and came in with a burst of energy. He delivered lariats, a Superman Punch, and even a daring dive to the outside. The pace picked up, with each wrestler getting in big moves, counters, and near-falls, keeping the crowd on edge.

As the match reached its climax, the action became even more frantic. Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker nearly won with a series of powerful moves, but Jey Uso and Roman Reigns refused to stay down. Reigns saved Uso by taking a spear meant for him, showing true teamwork. In the end, Uso hit a superkick and followed up with a diving splash from the top rope onto Bronson Reed, scoring the pin. The Bloodline celebrated their victory, having overcome a wild and hard-fought match.

Winner: Jey Uso and Roman Reigns

    Grade A

    Analysis

This match was an outstanding opener for WWE SummerSlam. Right now, two of the biggest stars of WWE have won the match against the two next biggest stars. We predicted a victory for Reigns and Uso in our WWE SummerSlam Predictions.  Uso got a louder reaction than Reigns, which was unsurprising because of the ‘Yeet.’ Bron and Bronson worked strongly in this match. All four competitors performed outstandingly. Will Roman Reigns move away from this group, or will we get a Survivor Series showdown?

Alexa Bliss & Charlotte Flair vs Raquel Rodriguez & Roxanne! Perez for WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship

The match began with Roxanne Perez and Alexa Bliss in the ring. Bliss quickly took control and tagged in Charlotte Flair, who cleared the apron with a big boot. Perez and Flair traded fast moves, and Raquel Rodriguez came in to use her power. Charlotte fought hard, but Perez and Rodriguez used quick tags and teamwork to keep her in trouble.

Charlotte finally made the hot tag to Alexa Bliss, who came in with a lot of energy. Bliss hit shoulder blocks, a Lou Thesz Press, and a dropkick, but Rodriguez broke up the pin. Perez tried a moonsault, but missed. The match got chaotic, with everyone hitting their big moves. Rodriguez almost won with a folding press, but Bliss kicked out just in time.

In the end, the action was fast and wild. Flair took out Rodriguez, and Bliss finally hit her Sister Abigail DDT on Perez. Bliss and Flair got the pin and became the new WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions, celebrating together in the ring after a hard-fought win.

    Winner: Alexa Bliss and Charlotte

    Grade B

    Analysis

WE are not friends, but we are champions. Bliss and the Queen did it on SummerSlam. The pairing of Bliss and Charlotte is doing wonders for the Queen, as she gets good reactions from the crowd. They will elevate the title for sure. Where will Judgment Day go from here? Wait and watch as Morgan is still out.

    Karrion Kross vs Sami Zayn

Sami Zayn and Karrion Kross fought a tough match with a special rule: the loser had to admit the winner was right about Sami Zayn’s true character. Zayn started strong, hitting Kross with shoulder blocks and a clothesline that sent him outside the ring. Kross fought back, dropping Zayn on the apron and hitting a Death Valley Driver for a close two-count. Both men traded big moves and punches, with Zayn landing a daring moonsault from the barricade and Kross hitting a powerful suplex.

A steel pipe got involved as the match heated up, but Zayn refused to use it, showing his true nature. Kross tried to take advantage with a quick roll-up, but Zayn kicked out. Fired up, Zayn hit an exploder suplex into the corner and followed with his finishing move, the Helluva Kick, for the win. Sami Zayn won by pinfall, and Karrion Kross had to admit that Zayn was right about himself, proving Sami’s character in front of everyone.

    Winner: Sami Zayn

    Grade C+

    Analysis

Sami Zayn and Karrion Kross deserved a spot on the bigger stage because they made this feud important. Zayn winning the match was right, as he has more star power than Kross. There will be a third and final match between them.

Jade Cargill vs Tiffany Stratton for WWE Women’s Championship

Jade Cargill and Tiffany Stratton started their match with fast-paced action, quickly taking the fight to the floor. Cargill showed her strength early, suplexing Stratton on the outside and celebrating with a kip-up. But Stratton fought back, knocking Jade off the apron with a hip attack and diving onto her with a suicide dive. Back in the ring, both women traded big moves. Stratton tried a senton from the top, but Cargill countered, catching her into a backbreaker and landing a superkick soon after.

The two exchanged power moves like the Argentine backbreaker from Jade and a Finlay Roll from Tiffany, keeping the match intense and evenly matched. As the match peaked, both women were exhausted but kept battling with creative reversals and hard-hitting offence. Stratton hit a Falcon Arrow, leaving both competitors down for a moment. After trading elbows and slaps, Stratton pulled off a Frankensteiner and an Alabama Slam, but Cargill blocked a top-rope move with her knees.

Jade attempted her finishing move, Jaded, but Stratton was too close to the ropes to be pinned. In the final moments, Cargill tried for an avalanche Jaded from the top, but Stratton reversed it into a victory roll. She followed up with her signature Prettiest Moonsault Ever, pinning Jade Cargill and successfully retaining her WWE Women’s Championship.

    Winner: Tiffany Stratton

    Grade B

    Analysis

They both hit some big moves well. The finish was not well booked. It looked rushed. Jade Cargill held her own in this match, which required her to be a single competitor. WWE is high on Tiffy Time as she won her matches at both top PLEs. It was a good chance to book Cargill as the Champion, but WWE missed this opportunity.

Drew McIntyre & Logan Paul vs Jelly Roll & Randy Orton

Before the match starts, Logan Paul tries to get under Randy Orton’s skin, but Jelly Roll starts things off against Paul. After a quick back-and-forth, Jelly Roll manages to outmuscle Logan with a slam and a flashy elbow drop, which seems to rattle Paul. Drew McIntyre tags in, and Jelly Roll hesitates, realising he’s facing a powerhouse. Drew immediately takes control, roughing up Jelly Roll with heavy strikes and a headbutt, then tagging in Logan for a double-team attack. The heels keep tagging in and out, and the Jelly Roll is wearing down.

Jelly Roll finally escapes and tags in Randy Orton, who comes in hot, clearing house with big lariats and signature moves. Orton suplexes both opponents onto the announce desk, but then McIntyre surprises him with a sudden Claymore kick. Meanwhile, Logan Paul delivers a wild “Prime Splash” off the ringpost, crashing through Jelly Roll and the announce table. Medics rush to help Jelly Roll and take him to the back, leaving Orton alone against both opponents. Orton hits a huge superplex on McIntyre, giving himself a chance.

Just when things look bleak, Jelly Roll returns, battered but determined. He tags back in, landing a chokeslam on Logan and a Bossman Slam on McIntyre. The crowd is fired up as Jelly nearly wins it, but McIntyre breaks up the pin and then hits Jelly with a Claymore. Orton nails Drew with an RKO, but Logan Paul removes Orton and finishes Jelly Roll with a frog splash. Thanks to Paul’s high-flying move, Drew McIntyre and Logan Paul win by pinfall.

Winner: Drew McIntyre and Seth Rollins

    Grade B-

    Analysis

The match has a few bright spots as all four competitors tried to bring their best. Jelly Roll tried his best to perform well in this match. The wrestling was not the best, but they entertained the crowd well. The next booking of all three wrestlers will be important after this match.

CM Punk vs GUNTHER for WWE World Heavyweight Championship

The match starts with a technical exchange as both wrestlers lock up, with GUNTHER using his strength to control Punk’s arms. Punk tries to fight back with kicks and counters, but GUNTHER shuts him down with brutal chops. The Champion dominates early, wearing Punk down with strikes and a punishing Cobra Twist, showing off his power and ring control.

Punk struggles to gain momentum as GUNTHER keeps chopping him down, trapping him in the Tree of Woe for a relentless beating. Punk fires back with his chops and counters, but GUNTHER keeps overpowering him, ragdolling him with slams and stiff kicks. The Champion trash-talks Punk, telling him he’ll never be the best, before locking in a Gojira Clutch to suffocate him further.

Despite the beating, Punk keeps fighting, landing a rough powerbomb and trying to rally with strikes. But GUNTHER cuts him off with a big kick, slams him again, and then locks in the Sharpshooter, flexing to show his dominance. The match leaves Punk battered and struggling, while GUNTHER stands strong, proving why he’s the Ring General.

The match reaches its peak as CM Punk fights desperately to escape GUNTHER’s brutal holds, even reversing into his own Sharpshooter at one point. GUNTHER mocks Punk and the crowd, landing hard chops and stiff kicks to wear him down. Punk fires back with strikes, a swinging neckbreaker, and a triangle choke, but GUNTHER keeps powering out, hitting a Tenryu Powerbomb. Still, Punk refuses to stay down, showing incredible resilience as the crowd rallies behind him.

GUNTHER continues his dominance, slamming Punk from the turnbuckles and choking him on the ropes before throwing him to the floor. He poses with the title, but Punk trips him up, sending GUNTHER crashing into the announce table. When GUNTHER gets up, blood pours down his face, shocking everyone. Punk seizes the moment, unloading punches, a knee strike, and a lariat before hitting his signature “Hail to the King” elbow drop from the top rope.

After a hard-fought battle, Punk finally lands two Go to Sleep manoeuvres to put GUNTHER away, winning the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Overcome with emotion, Punk clutches the title in disbelief—his long journey to the top finally complete. But the celebration is short-lived as Seth Rollins suddenly appears, faking his injury and cashing in his Money in the Bank contract.

Rollins attacks a weakened Punk with the briefcase before the bell even rings. Despite Punk’s efforts to fight back, Rollins hits the Blackout and pins him, stealing the championship in a shocking twist. The SummerSlam night ends with Rollins cashing in his Money in the Bank and emerging as the new Champion, leaving Punk devastated after his hard-earned victory was ripped away in seconds.

Winner: CM Punk from the Match, Seth Rollins from the Cash-In

    Grade A

    Analysis

What just WWE did with the fans? If Seth Rollins’ injury was not so serious, why did they take him off TV? The WWE missed a big main event between Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins at this summer’s SummerSlam. CM Punk and Gunther put up a great fight. After over a decade, CM Punk finally won a world championship in WWE. Seth Rollins’ cash-in was a surprise, as nobody expected this ending of SummerSlam Night 1.
