SummerSlam has been the second biggest show besides WrestleMania since its inception in 1988. It has lived up to the tag line “Biggest Party of the Summer”. This year, SummerSlam will be a Two-Nights event for the first time. Also, it will be the last ever SummerSlam for the 17-time World Champion and the current Undisputed WWE Champion John Cena, who will make a stop on the show in his Farewell Tour. With the hype never as big before, let’s break down the details and WWE SummerSlam 2025 Predictions.

WWE SummerSlam 2025 Predictions
Night One (Saturday)
Roman Reigns and Jey Uso vs Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed

It is probably the biggest match on Night One of SummerSlam because of the participation of Roman Reigns. This story suffered a significant setback when Seth Rollins got injured on Saturday Night’s Main Event. This led to the cancellation of what could have been a potential singles match between former Shield brothers.
Jey Uso was lacking direction as well, and this is good to book the former World Heavyweight Champion on the show. Picking a winner here is tricky. Breakker and Reed will get major success with a win here. However, Roman Reigns and Jey Uso are too big stars for Breakker and Reed to beat. Hence, we’ll pick Roman and Jey to win this match.
Winner Pick: Roman Reigns and Jey Uso
Tiffany Stratton (c) vs Jade Cargill – WWE Women’s Championship

Jade Cargill won the Queen of the Ring tournament to earn the right to challenge for the Women’s Championship. It is probably the least interesting story going into the Biggest Party of the Summer. There is little to no hype. Stratton’s run has been flat recently, and she has barely done something meaningful. It’s an easy prediction for us to go with Jade Cargill in this match.
Winner Pick: Jade Cargill
Sami Zayn vs Karrion Kross

Sami Zayn and Karrion Kross will battle again at SummerSlam. The story revolves around the fact that Sami never won a world title, and he will never do according to Kross. Zayn must prove him wrong. Picking a winner here is not an easy job. Sami has been out of the limelight for the past couple of months, and he needs a win here to move on to another program.
On the other hand, Kross has got himself over with fans on social media, which has reflected in arenas as well. Zayn is a star who can bounce back from every defeat. Hence, we’ll pick Kross to win here as he needs the victory more.
Winner Pick: Karrion Kross
Randy Orton and Jelly Roll vs Logan Paul and Drew McIntyre

Jelly Roll will step foot in a WWE ring for the first time for a match as he teams with The Viper, Randy Orton. Drew McIntyre and Logan Paul are good heels, and their pairing can bring more fun content on TV. Any winner here won’t cause a problem. Our pick will be for Orton and Roll. It is Jelly’s first match, and WWE will try to give him a victory here. He has shown interest in more matches in the future, and a win here will be awesome to introduce him to the WWE Universe.
Winner Pick: Randy Orton and Jelly Roll
The Judgment Day’s Raquel Rodriguez & Roxanne Perez (c) vs Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss – WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships

The women’s tag titles have finally started to get some praise. The current champions are Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez, representing The Judgment Day. Perez replaced Liv Morgan when she was injured. On the other hand, Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss have been a fun team on weekly shows, and the fans love their chemistry. The pairing can bring a lot to the women’s tag team division. Hence, our pick goes for Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair to win the women’s tag team championships.
Winner Pick: Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair
Gunther vs CM Punk (c) – WWE World Heavyweight Championship

CM Punk won the Gauntlet match on RAW to challenge Gunther for the World Heavyweight Championship. Gunther is a strong champion and is coming off a big win over Goldberg. Punk and Gunther were originally planned to battle at WrestleMania before the plans changed. For Punk, it’s his first world title match since coming back. Sooner or later, he’s definitely getting his hands on the World Heavyweight Championship. We predict that SummerSlam is the perfect place for the Best in the World to be back on top of the industry.
Winner Pick: CM Punk
Night Two (Sunday)
Naomi (c) vs Iyo Sky vs Rhea Ripley – Women’s World Championship

Naomi shocked the world at Evolution 2025 when she cashed in the MITB briefcase in Sky and Ripley’s match to win the Women’s World Championship. At SummerSlam, we’re getting them in a triple threat match in Naomi’s first defense. Ripley and Sky are the biggest babyfaces of the women’s division, and Naomi is a menace heel. Naomi needs a longer title run, especially with this character. Also, it’s been half a month since she won the title. Our pick will go for the champion to retain.
Winner Pick: Naomi
Six-Pack Tag Team TLC Match – World Tag Team Championships

The six teams included are The Wyatt Sicks (champions), DIY, Motor City Machine Guns, Street Profits, Fraxiom, and a team of Andrade and Rey Fenix. It will be a crazy showdown and has the potential to steal the show. The match is destined to carve in the history books no matter the winner. To shorten the list, we have Fraxiom and Wyatt Sicks for the win here. Our pick goes for Fraxiom to get their first title reign on the main roster.
Winner Pick: Fraxiom
Becky Lynch (c) vs Lyra Valkyria – Women’s Intercontinental Championship

Becky Lynch and Lyra Valkyria will write another chapter in their lengthy story at SummerSlam. The feud has been going on since RAW after WrestleMania 41. Bayley deserved to be in the match, but we predict that WWE has planned something big for her. Bayley will likely turn on Valkyria in this no-disqualification match. This will help Becky retain the title.
Lynch is a mega star, and having the title around her waist will further enhance the value of this championship. On the other hand, Bayley and Lyra can go on to feud in the upcoming months. It is a win-win situation for each of them in this scenario. Hence, our prediction is for Becky Lynch to retain her championship, assisted by Bayley’s heel turn on Lyra.
Solo Sikoa (c) vs Jacob Fatu – United States Championship (Steel Cage Match)

Former allies turned bitter enemies, Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu, will battle inside a Steel Cage for the US Championship. Sikoa won the title from Fatu at Night Of Champions, thanks to some help from his MFTs. This battle will be chaotic with a lot of interferences, even if it’s a Steel Cage match. Fatu will surely need help from someone other than Jimmy Uso to overcome this. Otherwise, Solo is going to retain his championship.
Winner Pick: Solo Sikoa
Dominik Mysterio (c) vs AJ Styles – WWE Intercontinental Championship

AJ Styles will finally get his hands on Dominik Mysterio at SummerSlam. Mysterio won the title at WrestleMania and had a decent reign. Styles has barely done anything memorable in recent memory. He needs a major victory to bring his career back on track. On the other hand, Dominik is an interesting character and can shine even without a title. Also, it looks like he will be getting a title in AAA soon. So, we’ll have The Phenomenal One as our champion.
Winner Pick: AJ Styles
John Cena (c) vs Cody Rhodes – Street Fight for the Undisputed WWE Championship

In a WrestleMania rematch, John Cena and Cody Rhodes will collide again for the Undisputed WWE Title, this time in a Street Fight. This stipulation suits Cena as he can’t deliver 5-star matches at this time in his career. The use of weapons will assist in making the encounter more violent and enjoyable.
We’ll pick Cody as the winner here. He should be presented as the saviour and the quarterback of WWE. But the point here is that Cena shouldn’t be losing clean. The Rock needs to return and appear at the Biggest Party of the Summer. Rhodes must sell his soul and align with The Final Boss, The Rock. This will give Cody a fresh start as a heel, and Cena will be back being a top babyface like he’s always been.
Winner Pick: Cody Rhodes
