WWE Monday Night Raw comes waltzing back into our lives today from the Lenovo Center in Raleigh, North Carolina. The red brand delivered a stacked show filled with drama, returns, and the latest build toward Crown Jewel in Australia next month. Rivalries heated up, alliances cracked, and some shocking moments stole the spotlight. From Roman Reigns making his presence felt to Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins exchanging sharp words, Raw advanced its stories in a significant way. Let’s break down all the WWE Raw Sep 29 results, winners, grades, and analysis from another wild night of action.
Kabuki Warriors Attack Ripley and Sky
Rhea Ripley came out and called Asuka and Kairi to the ring. She said she knew it would come to this, but hoped they could settle things with respect. What they did to IYO was too far. She told them to face her tonight. IYO SKY came out. She was already upset after losing the championship at WWE Wrestlepalooza, but the treatment of Kabuki Warriors shook her more than that. She said Rhea was right, but Asuka and Kairi were still her family.
On the screen, the Kabuki Warriors spoke. Asuka said she trained IYO, and she had forgotten her roots. She asked IYO to apologize. Kairi begged her to be family again. They said it was already too late for Rhea.
In the ring, Rhea told Asuka to go to hell. She told IYO to trust her because family can burn you. IYO said she needed time and left the ring. The Kabukis then attacked Rhea from behind. IYO snapped and tried to help, shoving Asuka down. Kairi stepped in to calm her. Asuka spat mist in IYO’s face. Rhea tried to fight back, but Asuka and Kairi beat her down. Rhea got posted shoulder-first, hit with spinning backfists, the Asuka Lock, and Kairi’s top rope elbow drop. Medics checked on IYO and Rhea while the Kabukis walked away.
Grade B
Analysis
Finally, Nobody is ready FOR Asuka once again. She is dismantling two popular names of Monday Night Raw using her heel tactics. WWE did a great thing by turning her heel, as she was otherwise irrelevant. Similarly, Ripley has been chasing a championship for ages now. She will get a new storyline without a title, which is great. So, all gold for all four women involved, as they will soon meet each other in the ring.
Dominik Mysterio vs Rusev for the WWE Intercontinental Championship
Dominik Mysterio started fast, but Rusev overpowered him with slams and suplexes. Dom used his speed to send Rusev to the floor and hit a dive, but Rusev caught him and slammed him again before the break. After the break, Rusev stayed in control. Dominik fought back with quick strikes, a slingshot senton, and two 619s. He went up top but missed, and Rusev nailed him with the Machka Kick for a close two count.
Rusev tried for the Accolade, but Dom escaped. They fought over the title belt. Dominik hit a low blow behind the referee’s back and rolled him up. Dominik Mysterio pinned Rusev with a low blow and schoolboy to retain the Intercontinental Championship.
Winner: Dom Mysterio
Grade B+
Analysis
It was not a 5-star classic. But it was not bad enough. Both Dom and Rusev put up a great show. Dom got a positive reaction, which showed that WWE fans love his work. He will be a great face champion in WWE. He pulled the trigger. Rusev is clearly a good heel chaser at the moment instead of getting the championship. WWE must give him a solid storyline before giving him a title.

Adam Pearce told LA Knight that making him a guest referee at Wrestlepalooza was a bad call. He said tonight was not about him and told him to stay out of things. Knight said all he cared about was his title shot. The New Day walked in and demanded a tag title match. Pearce got annoyed as they argued with Knight. LA said he would drop Kofi Kingston with a BFT if he had the chance. Pearce then booked Knight vs Kofi for later.
Bayley vs Raquel Rodriguez
Bayley and Raquel Rodriguez traded strikes early. Bayley tried a crossbody but got caught. She escaped with kicks. Rodriguez hit a big shoulder block and threw her around. Bayley fought back with elbows and hit a Stunner over the ropes. She followed with a dive and a dropkick. She tried a Frankensteiner, but Raquel caught her and slammed her into the barricade before the break could be made.
After commercials, Bayley landed a diving elbow and a senton, but Raquel powered up. She hit a fallaway slam and a Vader Bomb elbow drop. Bayley survived and locked in a figure four. Roxanne Perez interfered and broke it up. Raquel landed a big boot and finished with the one-armed powerbomb. Raquel Rodriguez pinned Bayley with the one-armed powerbomb.
After the match, Perez attacked Bayley. Lyra Valkyria ran in, unsure at first, but helped. She hit Enzuigiris and fought off Judgment Day. Raquel dropped her with a lariat, but Bayley recovered and cleared the ring. Bayley was thrilled Lyra helped and slapped hands with her, even as Lyra looked conflicted.
Winner: Raquel Rodriguez
Grade B
Analysis
Both women had a great outing. However, WWE attempted to develop this storyline into a long-term narrative, allowing both Bayley and Valkyrie to face Judgment Day’s Rodriguez and Perez. Bayley Hugger’s persona is almost back; WWE just tweaked her a little bit. We still do not know the future of Lyra Valkyria because she returned from top to bottom in no time.

Backstage, The Usos talked. Jimmy asked Jey why he had refused to help him and LA Knight the previous week. Jey said helping Knight means nothing. He asked Jimmy why he was helping him at all. Jimmy said he helps people. Jey told him not to. He said Nobody cares about them and that if Jimmy did things his way, he would have been world champion again. Jey said, ‘Forget Knight, they’ll handle business tonight.’ They shook hands, but Jimmy looked thoughtful afterward.
Later, IYO SKY was shown backstage with medics. Kairi Sane came up and told her they could still be a family if she apologized. IYO told her to leave and sat holding a photo of the three of them from better times.
LA Knight vs Kofi Kingston
LA Knight and Kofi Kingston started with a shoving match and a lock-up. Knight landed punches, a suplex into a neckbreaker, and went for an early cover. Kofi fought back with strikes and a big knee. Knight hit a back body drop that sent Kofi to the floor. On the outside, Knight smashed Kofi’s face into the barricade until Kingston reversed and sent him into the post. Kofi hit a splash off the apron before the break.
After commercials, Kofi stayed in control with a brain chop for two. Knight fought back with body shots and a shoulder block through the ropes. Woods interfered, allowing Kofi to get a nearfall with his feet on the ropes. Kofi tried Trouble in Paradise but missed. Knight countered fast and landed the BFT. LA Knight pinned Kofi Kingston with the BFT.
Winner: LA Knight
Grade C+
Analysis
It was a filler match, or we can say it was set up to give LA Knight a victory. WWE missed the trick with the New Day first. And now, they are losing again with LA Knight. WWE must give them a proper storyline, as both parties are proven performers.

Akira Tozawa walked backstage with Maxxine Dupri. He told her he was proud of her. Becky Lynch showed up and mocked her, calling her a failure. Becky bragged about being the greatest wrestler in the world. Maxxine replied that AJ Lee would not agree. Tozawa laughed, and Becky punched him low.
Becky then attacked Maxxine. She beat her down on a table until Jason Jordan and Petey Williams pulled her off. After that, Becky crossed paths with Seth Rollins. She said she felt a little better after the attack. Seth was serious and said he had to handle things on his own before walking away.
Seth Rollins and Cody Rhodes Promo Battle
Seth Rollins came out and took his time before speaking. Fans chanted for CM Punk. He finally spoke about his history with Cody Rhodes. Cody had three wins and three losses. Rollins said it did not bother him because those matches are in the past. What matters now is two men at the top fighting for the future of the industry.
Rollins said he could not believe people actually wanted Cody to win and lead the company. He said he was the one who should lead, and he had done everything right.
Cody Rhodes came out. He said this match did not decide the future. The fans did. He pointed out that Rollins was not even in full control of his own group, since Paul Heyman sent out Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed on Friday. Rollins claimed all decisions go through him. Cody brought up Brock Lesnar being announced by Heyman, and the crowd chanted, “No, it doesn’t!”
Cody said it should just be about the champion, Seth Rollins, facing the very best. He painted a picture of them years from now, remembering their matches, and reminded Seth that at WrestleMania 40, he extended a hand in friendship. Rollins snapped and told him to shut up. He said it was never friendship, only business. Cody was just the lesser of two evils.
Rollins said he would never shake Cody’s hand, never call him equal, and never call him the better man. At Crown Jewel, he said he would cleanse the timeline, erase their past, and write a new future. And that future, he claimed, would belong to Seth Rollins.
Grade A
Analysis
Both Rollins and Rhodes never disappoint on the mic. They had great chemistry in the ring, too. I am thinking that the match is somewhat of a clash to give a win to Seth Rollins, as he has already lost three in a row. We are hopeful that this match will be a 5-star classic once again.
Backstage
IYO SKY said Rhea Ripley was right. She told Adam Pearce that at Crown Jewel, the two of them would face the Kabuki Warriors. Rhea asked if she was sure, since she saw her with Kairi earlier. IYO said Kairi was lost, and Rhea had nothing to worry about. They hugged, but something strange happened with the mist. Rhea seemed to push some of it back into IYO’s eye. It was odd, leaving IYO looking unsettled.
AJ Styles and Dragon Lee vs Los Americanos
AJ Styles came out before the break. After commercials, Dragon Lee introduced himself. He said it was an honor to team with AJ and reminded everyone he was the #1 contender for the AAA Mega Championship. He promised to come after Dominik Mysterio. AJ agreed they had something special as a team. He said he was glad Lee would handle Dom and reminded fans he had John Cena at Crown Jewel. He promised to enjoy beating Cena again. Tonight, he said they would take out Los Americanos.
In the match, Los Americanos worked over Lee early and sent him into the corner. After the break, Lee fought back with a German suplex and a double stomp. AJ got the tag and ran wild. The action broke down with all four men brawling. Lee hit a Pele kick and a dive to the outside. AJ came off the ropes with the Phenomenal Forearm, then finished Bravo with the Styles Clash. AJ Styles and Dragon Lee beat Los Americanos when AJ pinned Bravo with a Styles Clash.
Winner: AJ Styles and Dragon Lee
Grade C+
Analysis
This match, featuring Dragon Lee and Los Americanos, was primarily used to showcase AJ Styles before his larger clash with John Cena. The outcome felt safe because WWE would not have booked him to lose here, given Cena was already lined up for Crown Jewel. The action itself was fine, but too much of it happened during the commercial break, which hurt the flow.
Backstage
Stephanie Vaquer was interviewed backstage. She said she was excited to face Tiffany Stratton at Crown Jewel. She respected her but promised she would win. Tiffany walked in and said she also respected Vaquer. She reminded her that she had been champion for almost 300 days. She said she would not let someone with only two weeks in WWE ruin her story. Tiffany declared it would always be Tiffy Time. Stephanie told her that her time was ending. Tiffany replied that La Primera would have to get used to second place.
Bron’ n Bron Connection vs the Usos in a Tornado Tag Team Match
The Usos jumped Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed at the ramp. Jimmy fought Breakker in the ring with superkicks and uppercuts. Jey joined in with a Superman Punch. The brothers knocked Reed to the floor, but Breakker bowled Jey over with punches. Reed hammered Jimmy on the announce desk.
Reed set up Jimmy for a move through the desk, but Jimmy escaped and superkicked him. Breakker flew off the barricade with a lariat and drove Jimmy through the table before the break.
After commercials, Jimmy was down. Reed hit Jey with a World’s Strongest Slam. Breakker nailed a spear. The heels tried to finish it, but Roman Reigns’ music hit. Roman returned with a chair, smashing both Reed and Breakker. Reigns threw Breakker back inside for the Usos. Jimmy hit a superkick, Jey followed with a spear, and together they executed a stereo splash.
The Usos pinned Bron Breakker after executing a stereo splash. After the match, Roman continued to attack Breakker with chair shots. He sliced his throat and smashed his back before throwing him out. Roman then celebrated with his cousins. He shook Jey’s hand and talked to him, while Jimmy looked uneasy about Roman’s influence.
Winner: The Usos
Grade B+
Analysis
The match was fine but repetitive, with Jey Uso facing The Vision again. The real story was Roman Reigns’ return, which overshadowed the action and tied back into Jey’s growing Tribal Chief-like role. Will this go for a Survivor Series War Games Match or Roman’s return for Crown Jewel? It is all for WWE Rae Sep 29 Results, Winners, Grades, and Analysis.
