WWE Draft 2024 Predictions
Let’s discuss which top superstars will remain on their respective brands and who will be traded to other brands. We will also discuss some shocking trades in our WWE Draft 2024 Predictions.
Cody Rhodes (Raw)
Cody Rhodes defeated Roman Reigns to become the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion in the main event of Night 2 of WrestleMania XL. Since then, he has appeared on both shows consecutively. However, he will be a part of the Raw roster after the draft, as WWE announced that Champions will not change the brand. It would be great if Cody goes to SmackDown.
Roman Reigns and The Bloodline (RAW)
Roman Reigns and the entire Bloodline have been part of the SmackDown roster for almost four years. One of the main reasons for that was the deal between WWE and Fox Sports. They demanded to have a megastar like Roman Reigns on their programming. WWE will be moving SmackDown to USA Network later this year, and Raw will be streamed on Netflix starting in January 2025.
The deal with Netflix is a five billion dollar deal, and WWE will try to have Roman Reigns on Raw now. It will also give a fresh start to their already exciting story. With Reigns, the other related names will also move to Raw, including Paul Heyman, Jimmy Uso, Solo Sikoa, and Tama Tonga. It is also possible that WWE won’t disclose Roman’s brand until his return.
Judgment Day (SmackDown)
The Judgment Day should move on SmackDown as Damian Priest is the current World Heavyweight Champion. With Cody on Raw, the other champion will be on SmackDown. Alongside him, the whole of Judgment Day, including Finn Balor, Rhea Ripley, Dominik Mysterio, and JD McDonagh, will move to SmackDown. With the rising tensions between Judgment Day, WWE can book a great storyline to split the factions rather than draft them to different brands.
Seth Rollins (SmackDown)
The Visionary can make a massive move by running Friday Nights instead of Monday Night Raw after the draft. He has been on Raw for a long time, and it looks like SmackDown will be a perfect place for him to create a lasting impact.
Drew McIntyre (RAW)
Drew McIntyre will be retained on the Raw brand. He still has a lot to do on Raw. The World Heavyweight Championship will be on his shoulders sooner than later. With the Scottish Warrior on Raw, we have another name to be part of the red brand in our WWE Draft 2024 Predictions.
CM Punk (RAW)
CM Punk will be on Raw after his return. It looks like he will be involved in the WWE Draft 2024, as he has been appearing from time to time, even with an injury. Punk will continue his feud with McIntyre after his return.
Sami Zayn (SmackDown)
Sami Zayn defeated Gunther for the IC Title at WrestleMania 40. Zayn has been on Raw for the past year or so. To have fresh names competing for the IC Title, WWE will send Sami Zayn to the blue brand. This way, we say that the mid-card champions will exchange brands. This takes us to our next name in WWE Draft 2024 Predictions.
Logan Paul (RAW)
With IC Champion Sami Zayn on SmackDown, the US Champion Logan Paul will be drafted to Raw to further his reign. This will be a huge deal as Logan grabs eyeballs, and it will be beneficial for WWE to transform into Netflix. This will also give Paul fresh opponents.
Gunther (SmackDown)
Gunther, alongside Ludwig Kaiser, can move to SmackDown in the upcoming WWE Draft. Gunther spent more than two years on Raw as the IC Champion. He lost the championship to Sami Zayn at WWE WrestleMania XL Night 1. Moving to SmackDown will seem to be a fresh thing for the Ring General and will help him to insert himself into the main event picture.
Randy Orton (SmackDown)
Randy Orton has been on SmackDown since his return when he chased the US Title. He will be a permanent part of the blue brand after the draft. Cody Rhodes is the champion on SmackDown, and Orton has a long history with him. Soon, a heel Orton will unleash on SmackDown, emerging as a significant threat to The American Nightmare.
LA Knight (RAW)
LA Knight has spent months on the blue brand feuding against The Bloodline and AJ Styles. According to our WWE Draft 2024 Prediction, the Megastar will be a part of the Monday Night Raw roster moving forward. After winning a big match at WrestleMania XL, he had nothing in the SmackDown.
Ilja Dragunov (RAW)
Ilja Dragunov lost the NXT Championship to Trick Williams on NXT Spring Breaking. The Mad Dragon had spent a lot of time on NXT, and this is a perfect farewell to him. He will be on Monday Night Raw going forward.
Women’s Champions (Becky Lynch and Bayley)
In the WWE Draft 2024, the Women’s World Champion Becky Lynch will stay on Raw, and the same will happen with WWE Women’s Champion Bayley, who stays on SmackDown.
Damage CTRL (RAW)
Damage CTRL can make to the red brand. This will include Asuka, Kairi, Iyo, and Dakota. These four can add much to the women’s division on Raw.
Moves to NXT
– Shinsuke Nakamura
– Ricochet
– TheFinal Testament
– Natalya
– The Good Brothers
– Michin
The superstars mentioned above have been consistently featured on the weekly TV but failed to create something magical and impactful. Nakamura and Ricochet can find their groove after a stint in the NXT brand. The Final Testament has lost any hype surrounding themselves on the main roster. They have already been appearing on NXT for a few weeks, and this brand seems to be a destination for them after the WWE Draft in 2024. Michin and Natalya can help the new NXT women’s division superstars. The Good Brothers will be an excellent addition to the tag team division in NXT, and the new teams will learn a lot from them.
