On June 17, WWE presented the weekly Monday Night Raw from American Bank Center in Corpus Christi, Texas. The show featured qualifying matches for the upcoming Money in the Bank. The champions got their new opponents. Let’s find out what happened on the entire show in our WWE Raw Results June 17.
Seth “Freakin” Rollins return
The show kicked off with Monday Night Rollins. The Visionary made a shocking return. Seth talked about getting back on top by capturing the World Heavyweight Championship. He discussed the possibility of winning the MITB briefcase. Damian Priest interfered. The World Heavyweight Champion welcomed Seth back on Raw. Drew told Rollins that it’s not Monday Night Rollins anymore. Instead, it’s a show where all rise for El Campeon.
Seth Rollins said that he and Priest have a lot in common. They both grew in groups. Priest made his name in the Judgment Day, while Seth made his name in the greatest group, The Shield. Rollins pointed out one thing they don’t have in common. Seth wanted to make a legacy of being the best of all time. He asked Priest if he wanted to be great or be a footnote in Judgment Day.
Priest told Rollins that things had changed, and he was the champion right now. Damian gave Rollins an opportunity for the World Heavyweight Title at Money in the Bank. Rollins asked if it was a trap, but Priest denied it, so Seth accepted the challenge.

Winner: Braun Strowman
Grades: B
Analysis: The post-match angle was much more fun than the actual match. Otis wasn’t fully snapped on Gable, which was interesting. Gable will be involved with them for a few weeks now.
Judgment Day’s Clubhouse: Priest asked Balor about the hotel room key. Finn said that he grabbed the key to protect Dom. Balor said he’d be the next Mr. Money in the Bank and cash in on Cody Rhodes. Dom’s purple vest was missing.

Now, Zayn would have to look forward, and Alpha Academy’s Otis, Tozawa, and Maxxine would have to solve their issues on their own. Bron Breakker interrupted the Intercontinental Champion. Breakker told him he had left a list of bodies, and Zayn was next. Breakker said that he’s getting the IC Title soon. Zayn held the IC Title high in the air.
Sheamus came out to a loud crowd ovation. Sheamus told Zayn that he had chased the IC Title for so long and put on banger after banger. The Celtic Warrior said that Zayn should consider him if he’s looking for his next opponent. Breakker said that nobody cares about Sheamus’ achievements. He dared Sheamus to get in his way. Grades: B+
Analysis: A fantastic segment. We wouldn’t mind a three-way feud for the IC Championship. Either way, Zayn will be getting a major opponent at MITB in his home country, Canada.

Drew McIntyre quit
After his loss at Clash at the Castle 2024, Drew McIntyre angrily walked down the ramp and entered the ring. McIntyre grabbed the microphone. A loud “CM Punk” chant picked up. Drew said that he couldn’t do it anymore, and he quit. Pearce came to talk to his top star, but McIntyre told him he was serious.
Dakota Kai and Kairi Sane vs Kayden Carter and Katana Chance
Carter landed a splash on Kai with some help from Chance. Kai hit a stomp and tagged in her partner. Sane landed an In-Sane Elbow for a near fall. Lyra caused a distraction, and Carter delivered a DDT to Kairi. Kai suffered an After Party for the win.

Analysis: This match felt like a filler on the show. It just served to increase the tensions between Damage CTRL and Lyra Valkyria.

Analysis: Jey Uso is the first man to qualify for the MITB ladder match. It was an incredible match. The YEET-Master celebrated until we had a surprise on the show.
Uncle Howdy is back
As Jey Uso was celebrating, the music cut off, and we saw a special Bray Wyatt gate on the entrance ramp. The fireflies were out. A character crawled through the door out of the smoke. It was a girl behind a mask. She pointed backward. A figure was backstage in a mask. Another person was there, filled with blood.
Braun Strowman was lying unconscious. One of the figures was sitting calmly there. Chad Gable was lying bleeding from the head. There was a guy in a gas mask. Finally, we saw Uncle Howdy standing there. Howdy walked into the arena surrounded by creepy creatures. He took the lantern and said, “We are here,” before blowing out the lantern.
Grades: A
Analysis: What an outstanding debut for Uncle Howdy and his faction. Bray Wyatt would be happy with the creativity shown by WWE. They presented it massively. Uncle Howdy’s return was highly inspired by Bray Wyatt’s return at Extreme Rules 2022.
Final Word
An amazing show. The final segment was the highlight and will be remembered for years. We haven’t seen WWE going this much deep into creativity for a debut. Besides that, Iyo Sky and Jey Uso have qualified for the Money in the Bank matches. The mix around the IC Championship is interesting as well. Did you enjoy WWE RAW Results June 17?
