WWE RAW on Netflix January 06, 2025 Preview, and Predictions 

It will be a historic moment on January 06 when WWE Monday Night Raw premiers on Netflix from Intuit Dome in Los Angeles. It is a game changer in the wrestling industry as the biggest wrestling company is shifting to the biggest streaming platform in the World right now. WWE RAW on Netflix is a must-watch as the legendary John Cena kicks off his farewell tour.  

WWE has set a WrestleMania-level match card for this iconic edition of the red brand’s weekly show. Besides that, you can expect visual changes that make your watching experience special. With enough thrill and excitement, let’s look at WWE RAW on Netflix on January 06, 2025.

John Cena kicks off his Farewell Tour 

The 16-time World Champion John Cena will kick off his final chapter with the debut episode of WWE RAW on Netflix. Fans are eagerly waiting for Big Match John to be on WWE Programming. Cena can be involved in the show in multiple ways. The most obvious will be him cutting a decent promo about his upcoming year.  

However, fans want more of him in 2025. A bold prediction will be that Cena will announce his participation in the Men’s Royal Rumble match. This will be a fun way for Cena to begin his last dance with the WWE.  

Rhea Ripley vs Liv Morgan (c) – Women’s World Championship “Last Woman Standing Match” 

After talking about the Farewell Tour, let’s talk about the Liv Morgan Revenge Tour. This tour will have a stop at WWE RAW on Netflix premiere as the Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan will defend her title against Rhea Ripley. WWE has raised the stakes by adding the Last Woman Standing stipulation. Quite frankly, this story has been stretched and getting boring lately.  

This match should be the final altercation in this feud. We will pick Rhea Ripley to get her redemption and championship back finally. This will also create a major moment for the women’s division on the Netflix debut of WWE Raw.

Jey Uso vs Drew McIntyre 

Drew McIntyre will continue his revenge against the OG Bloodline as he takes on Jey Uso in a singles match. Multiple distractions from the New and OG Bloodline members can be expected here. However, McIntyre will somehow come out victorious. Jey’s loss will be a down moment, but Drew needs a win here to continue his path to ultimately reaching Roman Reigns.

Logan Paul Returns 

It is officially announced that Logan Paul will return to WWE TV on the upcoming Raw. Paul has been absent since losing his US Title at SummerSlam. Logan may go after his next opponent. As it is Royal Rumble season, he can announce his entry into the Men’s Royal Rumble match.  

Rey Mysterio and a Mystery Partner vs The New Day 

The New Day’s recent heel turn has been a slow burn, with the team getting booed weekly. They could use a win, but WWE is likely planning a memorable moment. WWE has been airing vignettes for the debut of Pentagon Jr, and the mystery partner thing is perfect timing. It couldn’t be better for Pentagon to debut on Raw’s Netflix premiere. Penta will captivate multiple eyeballs on a mega night, and WWE shouldn’t miss this one.  

Roman Reigns vs Solo Sikoa – Tribal Combat Match 

The title of the Tribal Chief and the Ulafala will be on the line as Roman Reigns takes on Solo Sikoa in a Tribal Combat match. The rules will be simple as there will be no rules. As we saw on the January 3rd episode of WWE SmackDown, Paul Heyman will be at ringside holding the Ulafala. The winner will be crowned by Heyman, serving that man as the Wiseman.  

It isn’t easy to decide which winner to pick in this match. Roman needs a big win on this mega show. On the other hand, Solo will establish himself as a certified star if he beats Reigns. We predict that the OTC Roman Reigns will finally claim back his kingdom. However, the involvement of The Final Boss, The Rock, is highly expected, and that can change the finish of the Tribal Combat.

CM Punk vs Seth Rollins 

A Dream Match 10 years in the making! CM Punk will battle Seth Rollins. So far, WWE has advertised this as the night’s main event. It will surely be the highlight of the night as the fans will witness a WrestleMania-worthy match before their eyes are on weekly programming. The result of this match will matter for the upcoming Road to WrestleMania for both superstars.  

Choosing a winner here is challenging, as both superstars can’t afford a loss. We predict CM Punk will prove why he’s the best in the world by defeating Visionary Seth Rollins. It is possible that this is not a one-time match and can lead to a WrestleMania match.
