Seth Rollins arrived with Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed, and Paul Heyman who was holding the Money In The Bank briefcase. Rollins demanded a microphone from Heyman. However, Breakker jumped in and took the mic. He said that Rollins and Heyman have a vision for him, seeing him as the face of the company in the future. Bron noted that he also envisioned WWE without Sami Zayn, his opponent for tonight. He said that he hates Zayn and his music. He also said that Zayn has no athleticism. Breakker aimed to make today the expiry date for Zayn.

Heyman took the microphone from Breakker and gave it to Rollins. This time, Reed grabbed the mic and said that Rollins started respecting him after he hit Rollins with six Tsunamis. That’s why Rollins brought Reed into the group, and he has a vision for him too. Bronson said he’d insert respect into Jey Uso tonight with Tsunamis. Rollins took the microphone and gave it to the Wiseman Paul Heyman.

Paul said that they’d strike tonight, and the targets would be Sami Zayn, Penta, and Jey Uso. Heyman said that he has love for Uso but Roman Reigns won’t come back. Heyman said Sami would return to Canada. Talking about Penta, Heyman said that he won’t be able to do his hand signals after tonight. He dropped his “That’s Not a Prediction, That’s a Spoiler”, line. In the end, Rollins welcomed the crowd to Monday Night Rollins.

    Grades: B+

Analysis: It was an excellent promo segment to open WWE’s flagship show. This group still has no name which is weird. However, Breakker and Reed delivered great stuff there with Paul Heyman finishing with his masterclass statement. Roman Reigns was mentioned, so, you can say his return is sooner than we could expect. They set the tone for tonight with this explosive segment.

    The Judgment Day’s Clubhouse

Judgment Day members were setting up a memorial for Liv Morgan. Raquel Rodriguez came in and wasn’t happy. She said that Morgan is alive and rehabbing quickly. Balor said that he knows it takes time to come back from a shoulder injury. The focus came towards Roxanne Perez who said that she has Kairi’s number tonight.

There was a cake and Dominik thanked Balor and McDonagh. The tag team champions said that they didn’t get that cake. They left to meet RAW GM Adam Pearce. The cake had a note saying Get well soon from AJ Styles. The Phenomenal One appeared from the shadows before disappearing. Dom had the doctor’s note.

    Roxanne Perez vs Kairi Sane

    credit: WWE

Perez took control early, dominating Sane. They traded pin attempts. Roxanne hit a La Magistral into a bridging pin, but Sane escaped. Sane applied a submission, but Perez reached the ropes. Kairi landed a head-scissor takeover followed by a Cutlass forearm and a sliding forearm smash to the face. Perez rolled to the outside, but Sane landed a diving forearm off the apron. Raquel’s distraction allowed Perez to take control back.

Kairi fought back with a flipping neckbreaker. Perez responded with a head kick and a springboard moonsault for a near fall. Perez wrenched the arm and delivered a handstand knee drop. Sane bounced back with a forearm and an Alabama Slam. Rodriguez interfered again, this time pulling Perez out of the ring to prevent an InSane Elbow. Kairi took Raquel out with a crossbody. Back in the ring, Kairi countered Pop Rox with a backslide pin for the win.

Post-match, Rodriguez and Perez assaulted Sane, but Asuka rushed down for the save. Sane threw Perez out to the ringside area. Asuka blasted Rodriguez with the Empress Attack followed by an InSane Elbow by Kairi. The Kabuki Warriors reunited as the crowd erupted.

    Winner: Kairi Sane

    Grades: B-

Analysis: It was a fine match. There were sloppy spots at times which have become a theme for Kairi’s matches recently. However, the Kabuki Warriors are reunited, and it looks like they are up for the tag team championships. It is a relegation for Asuka who could have gone on to chase a world champion especially Iyo Sky in her singles run.

    Backstage

American Made was in the RAW GM’s office. Ivy Nile got a spot in the Evolution Battle Royal. The Creed Brothers nearly revealed El Grande Americano as Chad Gable. They left and Kabuki Warriors arrived. Adam Pearce told them that they would represent RAW in the women’s tag team championships fatal four-way match at Evolution.

Nikki Bella had a brief video package where she declared herself a participant in the Battle Royal. She aimed to prove herself and do whatever she could to win. Bella mentioned Liv Morgan here which is a clear indication that there were plans for a program between Bella and Morgan.

    Sami Zayn vs Bron Breakker

Karrion Kross attacked Sami with a steel pipe during the entrance. Zayn already had taped ribs, but he refused to give up the match. Breakker laughed at Zayn’s injured ribs before targeting them with rib-breaker. Bron hit the T-bone suplex, but Zayn responded with a clothesline. Sami launched himself from the top rope but got caught with a vicious Spear midair. Breakker landed a Spear on the outside and a third one in the ring for the victory.

    Winner: Bron Breakker

    Grades: B

Analysis: It was a dominant performance, exactly what was needed of Bron Breakker. Zayn has mastered making others look good on TV and this was a glimpse of his abilities. Breakker will move with a mega victory here. Zayn might be off TV for a couple of weeks before taking revenge on Kross.

The Man came around to Providence

    credit: WWE

Becky Lynch, the women’s Intercontinental Champion, arrived in the ring. She called herself the greatest female performer. Lynch wasn’t happy about Bayley and Lyra Valkyria getting opportunities against her in a triple-threat match at Evolution. Lynch called them losers and said that she would be at a disadvantage at Evolution. Becky wanted to handpick her opponent, just like other champions got to do.

Bayley arrived but got cut off by Valkyria. Lyra said that she didn’t bring Lynch back. She just called her after Bayley was injured at WrestleMania 41 Sunday. Becky said that Lyra is just pretending to be Bayley. Valkryia said that Bayley cared more about gold than the friendship which makes her like Lynch. Lyra aimed to win at Evolution to protect the women’s IC Title from two disappointments.

Bayley said that she sat in the front row for Lyra’s IC Title victory. Valkyria put in the hard work, but she ended up raising Becky’s hand like a little bitch. Valkyria attacked Lynch before going after Bayley. She delivered a Wrecking Ball Dropkick to Bayley. Lyra followed with Nightwings for both Bayley and Becky to stand tall in the end.

    Grades: B

Analysis: It was a decent segment that picked up pace as it proceeded. WWE is trying to bring the limelight to Lyra Valkyria as they want her to come out of this rivalry as a star. Valkyria has some work to do on promo delivering but she’s consistently improving.

    Backstage

Seth Rollins and crew were backstage where Rollins was happy with Breakker’s performance against Sami Zayn. However, Bron was disappointed in Karrion Kross for interfering in his match. Seth’s cooled him off. Paul Heyman brought the news that Sami Zayn will be out of action indefinitely and they all celebrated. Rollins told Bronson Reed not to laugh because his opponent Jey Uso is perfectly fit. Reed said that he won’t be after tonight’s match.

    Jey Uso vs Bronson Reed

    credit: WWE

The match began at Uso tried to use his quickness against the big man. Reed avalanched him down. Uso avoided a senton splash and landed an enzuigiri followed by a suicide dive to the outside. Uso landed a pair of superkicks to send Reed into a chair. As Jey attempted another suicide dive, Reed smashed the chair into his face. The match ended in disqualification. Reed delivered two Tsunamis and mocked the YEET before leaving.

    Winner: Jey Uso via DQ.

    Grades: C

Analysis: It was a dominating performance by Big Bronson Reed. Jey Uso showed a good fight and got the win anyway. The post-match assault from Reed didn’t look devastating. The reason behind this is that the expectations were four to five Tsunamis here. Only two of them appeared to be a downgrade from what Breakker did earlier on the show.

El Grande Americano vs Dragon Lee

    credit: WWE

Ludwig Kaiser came in, geared up as El Grande Americano. Americano delivered a shoulder tackle and a head-scissor takeover, but Lee fired back with a rolling hurricanrana. Lee landed a crossbody from the top rope for a two-count. Dragon hit a dropkick, sending Americano to the outside. Lee attempted a suicide dive, but El Grande countered midair with a head kick.

After the break, Lee delivered a sit-out powerbomb for a close call. Lee followed up with a slingshot dropkick and a running basement dropkick for a two-count. Americano responded with a blockbuster from the top rope. Dragon bounced back with a double stomp and launched a somersault plancha to the outside. Americano knocked Lee out with a running headbutt for the victory. Replays showed that El Grande used the steel plate under his mask.

    Winner: El Grande Americano

    Grades: B

Analysis: It was a brilliant match. Kaiser needs to use this gimmick to the best until Chad Gable returns. This will be beneficial for Kaiser too and will provide a good angle for Gable’s return. Dragon Lee once looked like a promising future star but is barely seen on TV now.

    Gunther and Goldberg face off

    credit: WWE

WWE World Heavyweight Champion Gunther arrived in the ring. The Ring General said that he had been verbally destroying Goldberg for the past weeks, but Goldberg did nothing about it. Gunther said that Goldberg is afraid of him. We see a car arriving in the parking lot.

It was Goldberg who straight walked to the arena and came face-to-face with his opponent at Saturday Night’s Main Event. Goldberg said that he’s had enough of Gunther’s trash talk and wanted a fight right there. Gunther tried to speak but Goldberg swiped the mic out of his hand. Goldberg laid Gunther out and prepared for a Spear. Gunther escaped as the crowd chanted Goldberg’s name.

    Grades: C

Analysis: It was a typical Goldberg segment with no spear. Gunther deserves all the credit for making this match valuable. Goldberg should have given more time to building his last-ever match. Nonetheless, we’re five days away from this encounter and Goldberg’s retirement match.

    Seth Rollins vs Penta

    credit: WWE

Penta wasted no time and landed a superkick that sent Seth out of the ring. Penta slammed Rollins into the Prime Energy Hydration Station and the barricade. Penta relentlessly chased Rollins everywhere around the ring. Seth sent Penta into the timekeeper’s area, but Penta surprised him with a hurricanrana off the barricade. Rollins dodged a handspring slingshot dropkick, but Penta executed a tope con hilo!

Back from the break, Seth hit a snapmare. Penta powered out of a ground lock, and delivered a reverse Sling Blade, followed by a handspring dropkick in the corner. Penta countered the Buckle Bomb with a slingshot backstabber for a two-count. Rollins hit a gutbuster before mocking Penta’s “Cero Miedo” taunt. The Visionary landed a Frog Splash for a close call.

Penta connected with a head-scissors takeover off the ropes, followed by the Penta Driver for a near fall. Seth delivered the Buckle Bomb, but Penta popped up and hit a Mexican Destroyer. Rollins reached the bottom rope just in time to save the match. Rollins sneakily headbutted Penta in the groin region. The referee didn’t catch it. Rollins delivered a Stomp for the win.

After the match, Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed appeared on the stage. Out of nowhere, LA Knight stormed the ring and hit Rollins with the BFT. Knight escaped before Breakker and Reed could reach him. The crowd chanted for the Megastar as the show closed.

    Winner: Seth Rollins

    Grades: A

Analysis: It was a breathtaking encounter in the main event of Monday Night RAW. Penta delivered a top-tier performance and Rollins did his heroics to give us a PLE-level match on a weekly show. Knight got some of Rollins before their battle at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event.

Overall, a brilliant edition of RAW capped off with an excellent main event. What are your thoughts on WWE RAW July 07 Results?
