The United Football League (UFL) emerged as America’s new spring football league. It began as a merger of XFL (Xtreme Football League) and USFL (United States Football League). It is scheduled to take place in America on March 30 2024. The United Football League (UFL) is very important for all the team to make their place permeant in FIFA Club World Cup 2025.
Owners of United Football League
Five partners own the United Football League: the former WWE Star and current Hollywood superstar, Dwayne The Rock Johnson, his ex-wife and business partner, Gracia, and Red Bird Capital Partner Gerry Cardinale. These three owned the Xtreme Football League. Now, they co-owned the UFL with Fox Sports (led by CEO Erik Shanks) and ESPN (led by chairman Jimmy Pitaro).
Russ Brandon, the former President and CEO of XFL, will hold the same title for the UFL. Daryl Johnston, former President of USFL, will lead the football operations of the United Football League.
Teams of the United Football League
The teams of the United Football League were disclosed on New Year’s Day. A total of 8 teams will compete in UFL’s inaugural season in 2024. These teams are divided into the XFL Conference and the USFL Conference.

Houston was the only area where both leagues overlapped, as it was the team with the strongest market. So, USFL’s Houston Gamblers are rebranded as Houstoun Roughnecks.
The teams will report for training camp in Arlington, Texas, on Saturday, February 24.
The inaugural match will be played between the 2023 XFL Champions, Arlington Renegades and 2023 USFL Champions Birmingham Stallions on March 30, 2024.
The UFL matches will be aired on AFC, ESPN, Fox and FS1.
Coaches of United Football League
The owners announced the Coaches on Monday. The former experienced players and coaches from both leagues, XFL and USFL, are combined to provide world-class coaches to the UFL.
They bring their decades of experience and passion to the game.
Four coaches from XFL and four coaches from USFL are retained.

St. Louis Battlehawks
