On September 1, 2025, WWE Raw aired from La Défense Arena in Paris, France. It is the same venue where the Clash in Paris occurred a couple of days ago. The show featured fallout from the Clash in Paris PLE. We knew more of the on-screen pairing of real-life WWE couple, Becky Lynch and Seth Rollins. AJ Styles challenged for Dominik Mysterio’s Intercontinental Title. The future of the Women’s World Championship was to be decided on the show. Let’s delve into the details and find out WWE Raw September 01 Results.
Jey Uso kicked off the show

Before the in-ring segment, we saw CM Punk waiting in the parking lot. Raw GM Adam Pearce told him to come inside. Punk said that it’s the only entrance to the arena and he’d wait for Seth Rollins to arrive.
In the ring, “Main Event” Jey Uso made his entrance to a thunderous ovation from the Paris crowd. Uso said that he has tapes around his waist, but not the World Heavyweight Championship. Jey said that he thought about every scenario, whether he should have listened to Roman Reigns, and maybe he shouldn’t have come out to Roman’s match to be 100% focused on his own match. Uso said that there’s no playing within the family, and Reigns is in the hospital. Jey called out The Vision.
LA Knight arrived instead of The Vision. Knight said that Uso lived in his cousin’s shadows and Rollins lived in his wife’s shadows. He said that Uso spoiled everything for him at Clash in Paris. Knight reminded him of the spot where they had the chance to put Seth through a table, but Jey had a change of plans. Then he went for BFT, but Uso spoiled it too. Knight said that Uso had a tough time understanding things, and he would speed up for him.
As things were pacing between Knight and Uso, Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed appeared on stage. Knight roasted them straight away. He asked about their babysitter, referring to Paul Heyman. Knight hilariously said that Reed and Breakker have very few brain cells, and they appeared in the 8th grade three times. Knight inquired about Heyman’s health after Reigns put him in the hospital. Breakker said that they put Roman in a hospital, and the next to him will be Uso and Knight soon.
Breakker said that without Paul Heyman, they are off the leash, and no one would stop them from tearing apart Knight and Uso. Bronson said that Seth Rollins’ vision didn’t include Roman Reigns, so they removed him. It’s time for Knight and Uso’s turn. Breakker challenged them to a tag team match, which Uso and Knight agreed to.
Grades: B
Analysis: It was a fine opening segment. LA Knight really did a good job here. Breakker and Reed got to shine on the mic as well in the absence of Paul Heyman. We have our main event of the night, a tag team match with Jey Uso and LA Knight against Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed.
The Kabuki Warriors vs The Judgment Day

Before the match, Iyo Sky apologised to Kairi Sane and Asuka about last week. Asuka said that they’re family and there’s no issue. Sky asked if they wanted help in the upcoming match, but Asuka refused. Asuka began the match against Roxanne Perez. The Prodigy slapped Asuka across the face before retreating to the outside. Raquel Rodriguez tagged in, as did Kairi Sane. The Kabuki Warriors double-teamed Rodriguez with a series of kicks. Roxanne tagged back in, but Kairi took her down with a dragon screw and a head-scissors takeover.
Kairi delivered a wheelbarrow stunner to Rodriguez. However, Raquel’s power shifted the momentum towards The Judgment Day. The women’s tag team champions dominated Sane for a while. Asuka came in with a missile dropkick on Rodriguez and a flurry of strikes on Perez. Rodriguez regained momentum with a clothesline, followed by Roxanne’s double-jump springboard moonsault. Kairi took out Raquel with an InSane Elbow on the outside. In the ring, Asuka cinched in the Asuka Lock for the victory.
Winners: The Kabuki Warriors
Grades: C
Analysis: It was an average match with a few sloppy moments. It was not for the women’s tag team championships, so Asuka and Sane got the win. It will surely earn them a title opportunity in future.
The Fate of Women’s World Championship

In a video package, Raw GM Adam Pearce announced a match to determine the upcoming Women’s World Champion. He said that there are two contenders. Stephanie Vaquer, who won the Battle Royal at Evolution, and Iyo Sky, who had a match with Naomi scheduled. So, Pearce made a match between Sky and Vaquer at Wrestlepalooza for the vacant title.
Finn Balor vs Dragon Lee

Dragon Lee started at a quick pace, landing an arm drag, a running knee and a basement dropkick. Finn Balor responded with a backbreaker. Lee bounced back quickly with a hurricanrana and a dropkick, followed by a somersault senton to the outside. Lee delivered a snap German suplex and a sit-out powerbomb for a two-count. Balor hit a falling elbow drop.

Winner: Finn Balor
Grades: B-
Analysis: It was a fun match, and the crowd enjoyed it too. Dragon Lee is a great athlete, but lacks opportunities. He should be consistently booked on the shows. Finn Balor secured a win in a singles match, which is a positive outcome from this encounter.

Erik tagged in, and Woods hit him with a facebuster. Waller landed his rolling thunder flatliner, followed by Kofi’s splash for a near fall. In the end, Penta secured the win with a Mexican Destroyer.
Winner: B+
Analysis: It was a fun six-man tag match. The War Raiders and Penta were fun to watch. It was a win for Penta’s side. Penta’s stock has drastically fallen in recent weeks, and it appears WWE is at a loss for plans for the masked wrestler.
Backstage
Rhea Ripley was interviewed backstage, where she said that she’d try to get a title shot against the winner of the Sky vs. Vaquer match. Asuka and Kairi interrupted. Ripley asked why Asuka had problems with her. Asuka said that she’s not friends with Iyo Sky. Ripley dared Asuka to push her. Asuka said that she’d push anyone in her way, as nobody’s ready for her. The Kabuki Warriors left.

Dominik distracted the referee, allowing Americano to hit Styles with a loaded headbutt. Mysterio took advantage and landed a frog splash to retain his championship.
Winner: Dominik Mysterio
Grades: B+
Analysis: It was a fantastic match. The crowd was invested throughout. Both superstars delivered an excellent performance. Dominik Mysterio was caught talking to El Grande Americano in the past couple of weeks, and the deal has paid off for the IC Champion. Hard luck for AJ Styles, but he’s not completely out of the title picture yet.
The Man meets The Best in the World

CM Punk was waiting for Seth Rollins in the parking lot. Adam Pearce informed him that Rollins is already in the building. CM Punk marched to the ring and demanded to see Seth Rollins, or he wouldn’t leave the ring and would sing songs with his French friends. Becky Lynch arrived on Seth Rollins’ theme song, dressed like him. Punk told her to call Rollins because it had nothing to do with her. Punk wanted to leave, but Becky stopped him.
Lynch said that it has everything to do with her because Punk impacted her family, and he will listen to what she has to say. Lynch started praising herself and her husband. She said that they are at the top of their divisions. They made this company what it is today. Lynch said that she main-evented WrestleMania with her hard work, while Rollins made sacrifices for the business that no one had made.
Becky called herself the greatest female talent. An “AJ Lee“ chant was picked up, to which Becky responded by saying that she doesn’t work here. Lynch said that Punk didn’t fit in The Vision. CM Punk started talking and said that Seth’s Vision is blurry. Punk said that he’s the Best in the World, and every town, including Paris, acknowledges that. He said that people chanted his name even when he was not here. They chanted for him, whether he was a champion or not.
Punk said that Rollins hides behind people like Paul Heyman, Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed and now his wife. Punk praised Lynch’s talent but said that she married a bum. Seth Rollins came to the stage. Punk wanted to go to him, but Lynch stood in his way. Rollins left, and Becky slapped Punk. Lynch dared Punk to do something. Punk said that he’d make Seth and Becky regret what they did. Lynch called him a pathetic loser who’ll never be a champion.
Grades: B+
Analysis: This was all Becky Lynch in this segment. She brought the fire to the segment. As far as CM Punk is concerned, these were standard lines he’s been saying for months. AJ Lee’s return looks inevitable at this point, especially after this segment, where Lynch slapped Punk. This story is going to be interesting in the coming weeks.
Jey Uso and LA Knight vs Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed

Knight hit Breakker with a neckbreaker, followed by Uso’s running hip attack. Reed and Breakker targeted Jey’s injured ribs. Knight got the momentum back with a neckbreaker and a jump-up elbow drop on Reed for a two-count. A distraction by Bron allowed Bronson to take advantage as he landed a senton bomb. Breakker followed up with an overhead belly-to-belly suplex. Breakker continued the assault with a pair of Vertical Suplexes and a German suplex.
Uso got the tag, and he charged on Bron with a snap kick and a running hip attack. Uso delivered a spear to Breakker and a superkick to Reed. Knight and Uso united to clothesline Reed over the top rope. Uso landed a suicide dive on Reed to the outside. In the ring, Knight hit BFT. Uso was the legal Man, and he landed a Uso splash. Reed pulled Jey out to prevent the pinfall.
Uso landed a trio of superkicks on Reed, followed by a spear and a splash. Breakker appeared out of nowhere and speared Jey for the victory. After the match, Breakker speared Knight, and Reed sent him over the commentary desk. In the ring, Jey suffered a spear and a Tsunami. Jimmy Uso ran down with a steel chair to help his brother as The Vision retreated.
Winners: Bron Breakker & Bronson Reed (The Vision)
Grades: B
Analysis: It was a decent match in the main event. There was nothing special about the main event. The post-match attacks have become a theme for The Vision’s matches. I would have rather put Styles and Mysterio in the main event. Nonetheless, The Usos will be reuniting in this battle against The Vision.
