    Randy Orton vs Drew McIntyre

Jelly Roll was at the ringside with Randy Orton while Logan Paul was in Drew McIntyre’s corner. Randy hit ten punches in the corner and a stiff clothesline to send Drew to the outside. At ringside, Orton went for his signature back suplex, but McIntyre caught him and delivered a couple of back suplexes of his own onto the commentary desk. Back in the ring, McIntyre assaulted Orton with chops and a Glasgow Kiss. Randy fought back with a snap powerslam.

Drew escaped to the ringside area. Randy caught him this time and delivered three back suplexes onto the announcers’ desk. Orton landed the draping DDT and attempted RKO. Instead, McIntyre delivered the Claymore Kick for a near fall as Randy got his foot on the bottom rope. At ringside, Jelly Roll laid out Logan Paul. This distracted McIntyre and allowed Orton to hit RKO for the win.

Logan Paul attacked Orton with One Lucky Punch as The Viper was celebrating. Jelly delivered a strong punch to Paul. In the meantime, McIntyre recovered and landed a Claymore Kick on Roll. McIntyre walked off as Orton was concerned about Roll. Randy Orton and Jelly Roll will battle as a team against Logan Paul and Drew McIntyre at SummerSlam.

    Winner: Randy Orton

    Grades: B-

Analysis: It was a fine match to kick off WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event. Orton and McIntyre have great chemistry and rarely have a bad match. SummerSlam won’t be good for either Randy or Drew as they are inserted in a celebrity fun tag team match.

    Bianca Belair is back!

    credit: WWE

Jade Cargill was shown at the ringside in attendance where Naomi attacked her. Naomi applied as the WWE Officials separated them. Naomi jumped off the commentary desk onto Jade. Somehow, the officials kept them apart. SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis came in and said that he has a solution for this chaos. Aldis introduced Bianca Belair as the special guest referee for the No Holds Barred match between Jade Cargill and Naomi tomorrow night at WWE Evolution 2025.

Solo Sikoa (c) vs Jimmy Uso – WWE United States Championship

    credit: WWE

The match began and Jimmy quickly sent Solo to the outside and followed up with a suicide dive. Solo’s MFTs were at the ringside who helped him get up. Sikoa got back in the ring and landed the Spinning Solo. Sikoa distracted the referee as Talla Tonga landed a clothesline to Jimmy at the ringside. Uso hit a superkick and a German Suplex on the apron. Uso landed a cross-body block and a running hip attack in the corner, followed by an Uso Splash for a near fall.

Solo got up and delivered another Spinning Solo. Sikoa prepared for the Samoan Spike as Jimmy delivered two superkicks. Solo wisely rolled to the outside to his MFTs. Uso climbed to the top rope and landed a corkscrew senton, taking out everybody in the process. Jimmy delivered two superkicks to Talla Tonga. Solo grabbed Jimmy in the ring and rolled him up for a three-count as Talla helped Solo.

The attack from MFTs continued after the match. Talla landed a big boot on Jimmy and Sikoa delivered the Spike. Jacob Fatu ran down for the save. The Samoan Werewolf attacked JC Mateo and Tonga Loa and delivered running hip attacks in the corner. Talla landed a big boot on Fatu as Sikoa barked orders. Fatu sent Talla to the outside and landed a suicide dive on Solo and Talla.

    Winner: Solo Sikoa

    Grades: B

Analysis: It was a decent battle for the US Championship. Solo Sikoa should be given a lengthy run with the title. It looks like SummerSlam could be a place for Jacob’s rematch for the US Title. However, he will have to get through Solo’s MFTs first.

    Seth Rollins vs LA Knight

    credit: WWE

Seth Rollins had Paul Heyman at the ringside holding the briefcase he won at Money In The Bank 2025. The bell rang, and Seth targeted Knight’s injured rib area. Knight escaped from the Pedigree while Rollins avoided a BFT. Knight delivered a back body drop over the top rope. Outside, Knight delivered a baseball slide and hit a diving clothesline. Back from the break, Rollins delivered a gutbuster followed by a Frog Splash for a two-count.

Knight fought back with a clothesline, followed by a neckbreaker and a DDT. Knight landed a diving elbow drop from the top rope for a near fall. Knight attempted a superplex from the top, but Seth slid under him and delivered a Buckle Bomb. Rollins superkicked Knight and landed a springboard senton splash.

Rollins attempted the Lionsault but Knight moved away. Rollins landed on his feet, immediately clutching his knee in pain. Heyman, the referee, and a ringside doctor checked on Rollins. Seth slowly pulled himself up and Knight delivered BFT for the win.

    Winner: LA Knight

    Grades: B+

Analysis: It was a brilliant match while it lasted. The finish of the match was miserable. Seth Rollins looked legit injured and that finish wasn’t planned. Rollins buckled his knee while attempting a Lionsault. The same happened to him last year as well during the same move. We hope that Rollins will be back soon as the future of WWE was totally dependent on him in the coming months.

Goldberg vs Gunther (c) – WWE World Heavyweight Championship

    credit: WWE

In the main event. It was Goldberg’s retirement match. Goldberg made his iconic walk one last time, flanked by his son Gage and the former WCW Security Head Doug Dellinger. The crowd erupted in “Goldberg” chants, giving the Hall of Famer a thunderous ovation. Goldberg dropped Gunther a couple of times in the beginning. Gunther’s chops barely affected Goldberg who absorbed them and laughed. Goldberg delivered a knee to the face, followed by a short-arm clothesline.

Gunther targeted Goldberg’s knee. Goldberg attempted a Spear at ringside, but Gunther moved out of the way as Goldberg crashed through the barricade. Goldberg landed a spinebuster and a back body drop. Goldberg charged for a Spear, but Gunther dodged, and the referee Charles Robinson ate the Spear. Gunther ripped off Goldberg’s knee brace and smashed him in the knee and head with it. Gunther reached Goldberg’s son Gage in the front row and shoved him.

Back inside, Goldberg speared Gunther. The Icon followed it up with a devastating Jackhammer for a near fall. The Ring General applied a rear-naked choke with a body grapevine. Goldberg’s body gave out and the referee called for the bell. The 28-year career of Goldberg ended in heartbreak. In the end, Goldberg stood in the ring surrounded by his family and longtime friends with the crowd chanting his name. Michael Cole hands Goldberg a microphone. Goldberg thanked everyone as the show closed.

    Winner: Gunther

    Grades: B

Analysis: It was never going to be a high-quality wrestling match, but Goldberg put his best effort. The Icon’s legendary career is over. The sendoff speech looked rushed. It looks like WWE ran out of time. Gunther retained his World Heavyweight Championship as we predicted in the WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event Predictions.

The show was fine despite Rollins’ injury. What are your thoughts on WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event July 12 Results?
