The six participants included were Alexa Bliss, Rhea Ripley, Giulia, Naomi, Stephannie Vaquer, and Roxanne Perez.

    Highlights and Key Moments

    • Stephanie Vaquer was in her third match in a 24-hour span. She competed at SmackDown last night, at Worlds Collide during the day, and then in the MITB ladder match.
    • Rhea Ripley and Alexa Bliss shared a moment of alliance when Ripley launched Bliss allowing her to dropkick a ladder onto Naomi.
    • Vaquer landed a springboard crossbody onto Giulia and Perez. Vaquer delivered a gutbuster to Roxanne and a Meteora on Giulia.
    • Perez and Giulia worked together for a while. Giulia dropkicked Bliss onto a ladder. Perez caught Ripley and hit a hurricanrana followed by a springboard moonsault onto the ladder. Ripley got sandwiched in a ladder and buried under a pile of ladders.
    • Giulia fired up and delivered German Suplexes from the ladder onto Vaquer and Naomi. Bliss caught Vaquer on a ladder in the center of the ring and powerbombed her onto the mat.
    • Rhea Ripley bounced back and brought the brutality to the ladder match. Mami caught Perez and slammed her into Naomi with a Razor’s Edge followed by an Electric Chair slam on Giulia onto the ladder.
    • Ladder bridges came into play in the ring. Vaquer delivered Devil’s Kiss to Ripley on the ladder bridge to a thunderous ovation. Roxanne and Alexa landed stereo Code Reds on Vaquer and Naomi onto bridged ladders.
    • In the end, Bliss delivered Sister Abigail DDT to Perez at the same time Ripley landed Riptide on Giulia. Naomi knocked Bliss and Ripley off the ladder and grabbed the briefcase.

    Winner: Naomi

    Grades: B+

Analysis: It was a huge win for Naomi and a well-deserved one. Overall, the match was fun with brilliant performances from the three young stars Giulia, Stephanie Vaquer, and Roxanne Perez. Naomi’s perfect heel run has brought fruit for her as we predicted in WWE Money In The Bank 2025 Predictions. Alexa Bliss and Rhea Ripley raised the match quality with their expertise. WWE Money In The Bank 2025 kicked off with a solid bout.

Dominik Mysterio vs Octagon Jr. – WWE Intercontinental Championship

    credit: WWE

Dominik Mysterio appeared at Worlds Collide and got into a fight with Octagon Jr, leading to this match. Dom was brave enough to put his title on the line. Octagon landed a spinning crossbody block to start the action. The AAA star continued with a head-scissor takeover followed by an Asai Moonsault. Mysterio laid out Octagon at the top rope and taunted his fellow AAA stars including Vikingo who were sitting in the front row.

Octagon fought back with a superkick and a twisting splash for a near fall. Dom landed Two Amigos and a Michinoku Driver for a near fall of his own. In the end, as Octagon climbed the top rope, Liv Morgan interrupted on the apron. Dom took advantage and delivered a 619 followed by a Frog Splash for the victory.

    Winner: Dominik Mysterio

    Grades: B

Analysis: It looked weird to have Money In The Bank with 4 matches and WWE added this to the card. It was a fun match with a good outing for the AAA star, Octagon Jr. Mysterio makes others look good. At the same time, it would have been better if a proper storyline match from Raw or SmackDown made it to the match card on the show.

Lyra Valkyria (c) vs Becky Lynch – WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship

    credit: WWE

Next up was the women’s IC Title match where champion Lyra Valkyria defended against the challenger Becky Lynch. It was a do-or-die situation for Lynch as she wouldn’t challenge Valkyria for the IC title again if she lost. Valkyria attacked Lynch during the introductions. However, Becky was ready, and she assaulted Lyra in the corner and at ringside. Becky landed Bexploder for a two-count. They traded quick pinfalls. Lynch delivered multiple leg drops, but Valkyria responded with a swinging neckbreaker.

Lyra hit a step-up enzuigiri and a gut wrench sit-out powerbomb for a two-count. Valkyria landed a superplex from the middle rope followed by a fisherman’s suplex. Valkyria hit a Wrecking Ball Dropkick to the outside followed by a crossbody block from the apron. Back in the ring, Lyra jumped from the top, but Becky caught her into a powerbomb for a near fall.

The finisher fest began as Lynch hit a Manhandle Slam for a near fall. The action spilled to the outside where Lynch delivered another Manhandle Slam. Lynch’s anger got the best of her and Valkyria hit Nightwing. Both women were down on the outside and the referee started the count. Both barely slid back into the ring. In the ring, Becky rolled Lyra and grabbed the tights for the win.

As was the deal, Lyra raised Becky’s hand after the match. Lynch wanted it again and Lyra obeyed. Becky told Lyra to wrap the championship belt around her waist. This was the moment Valkyria had enough, and she delivered a German Suplex followed by a Nightwing.

    Winner: Becky Lynch

    Grades: B+

Analysis: It was a brilliant match. Becky and Lyra jam well together. They never had a bad match, but the finish came out with a roll-up win in their every match so far. Becky Lynch is the new women’s Intercontinental Champion. Another match is loading between Lynch and Valkyria and will probably happen at WWE Evolution PLE.

Men’s Money In The Bank Ladder Match

    credit: WWE

The six participants included Solo Sikoa, Penta, Seth Rollins, El Grande Americano, Andrade, and LA Knight.

    Highlights and Key Moments

    • The bell rang and everyone attacked Seth Rollins, sending him to the outside. The attention then turned to Solo who suffered a neckbreaker from Knight and a dropkick from Penta.
    • The commentators argued about Chad Gable and El Grande Americano while Andrade landed a somersault plancha to the outside followed by Penta’s diving crossbody.
    • The ladders became part of the match as El Grande slammed Seth onto the ladder. Sikoa did the same to Americano. Knight caught Solo and landed a neckbreaker onto a ladder. Three ladders were set with all six competitors climbing up. Rollins and Sikoa wiped out everyone. Seth delivered a pedigree to Penta and a Stomp to Solo.
    • Americano applied the Ankle Lock on the top of a ladder to Rollins. Andrade caught Americano and delivered a powerbomb. On the other side, Penta suplexed Rollins onto a ladder.
    • Penta executed a Mexican Destroyer on Andrade on a ladder bridge. Americano suplexed everyone and used a customized Fireball Ladder to take out his opponents.
    • Americano loaded his mask with the metal plate. He climbed a ladder from the ringside and used another ladder as a pole vault to reach the top of the ladder in the center of the ring. Americano headbutted Penta with the steel plate in his mask. Knight used the ladder as a ramp to climb up and landed a Kamikaze on Americano from the top of the ladder to the canvas.
    • Rollins saw the out-of-control situation and called for backup. Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed joined the action in the ring and laid out everyone. Breakker speared Americano and Reed landed a Tsunami on Andrade.
    • Jacob Fatu and JC Mateo walked down the ramp. Mateo got speared by Breakker through the barricade. Fatu dealt with Reed. The US Champion set the ladder for Solo to climb. As Sikoa reached the briefcase, Fatu grabbed his foot and yelled, “I hate you, Solo”, before turning on him. Fatu landed a superkick and a moonsault on Sikoa followed by a Spinning Solo through the ladder bridge, crashing the ladder in half.
    • In the final moments, Rollins set up another Fireball ladder. Knight attempted a BFT, but Rollins countered it with a Stomp. Seth climbed the ladder and grabbed the MITB briefcase.

    Winner: Seth Rollins

    Grades: A

Analysis: It was a destructive match with everything you would expect from a ladder match. Penta stood out as the best performer throughout. Seth Rollins’ hunger for power has earned him a world title shot at any place and any time of his choosing. Jacob Fatu made an impact in the match and the family story is on.

John Cena and Logan Paul vs Jey Uso and Cody Rhodes

    credit: WWE

The match began, and Paul and Cena teased the crowd with quick tags. Rhodes delivered a Delayed Vertical Suplex to Logan. Jey Uso got the tag, and he landed a pop-up reverse neckbreaker on Paul. Logan responded with a blockbuster from the middle rope. Cena tagged in and dominated Uso for a while. Cena and Paul took turns on Uso, preventing him from tagging Cody. Cena delivered the shoulder tackles, the back suplex powerbomb, and a 5-Knuckle Shuffle.

Cena and Paul got into an argument about tagging themselves in. Cena said that he was teaching Paul before they shoved each other. Uso took the opportunity and tagged Rhodes in. Cody charged in and hit a snap powerslam on Logan and a Cody Cutter on Cena. Rhodes landed a dropkick on Cena. The Undisputed WWE Champion replied with AA on Cody. Jey saved the match at two-count.

Uso superkicked Paul. Cena delivered Attitude Adjustment to Uso. Cody hit Cross Rhodes on Cena. Logan leaped for springboard splash. Rhodes saw him and moved out of the way so that Logan landed on Cena. Uso speared Logan and the crowd was roaring for this encounter. After some back-and-forth action, Logan delivered Paulverizor to Rhodes. Paul caught the drone camera in hand as he was on the top rope. Cody caught him there and landed a superplex followed by a splash from Uso.

John joined the action and delivered AAs to both Rhodes and Uso. Cena tried to pin Cody who kicked out. Cena was frustrated and he cleared off both commentary tables at ringside. Cena lifted Cody on the shoulders, but Uso speared Cena onto the commentary table. While Uso was lying on the table, Logan landed an Asai Moonsault from the apron, crashing Jey through the table. The referee checked on Logan and Uso.

As the referee was busy, Cena grabbed the championship belt and cracked Cody’s skull. Out of nowhere, a man dressed completely black with his face covered appeared and attacked Cena. The man was revealed to be R-Truth. He blasted Cena in the face with the belt before escaping through the crowd. Cody delivered Cross Rhodes and pinned Cena for the win! Jey Uso and Cody Rhodes celebrated in the ring as an angry and frustrated John Cena looked on from the stage.

Winners: Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso

    Grades: B+

Analysis: It was an excellent main event match to cap off WWE Money In The Bank 2025. Cody Rhodes pinned John Cena which will probably lead to a future match. R-Truth is back and took out Cena. The fans were heard and WWE signed back Truth. Logan Paul impressed yet again with his performance. There were tensions shown between John Cena and Logan Paul as well which might lead to a program in the future.

Overall, it was a fun show. Seth Rollins and Naomi are your men’s and women’s Money In The Bank briefcase winners. What are your thoughts on WWE Money In The Bank 2025 Results? Did you enjoy the show?
