    Cody Rhodes Kicked Off

    credit: WWE

In the beginning, a camera panned backstage in the parking lot, where Jacob Fatu grabbed Solo Sikoa from his car and attacked him. In the ring, the King of the Ring, Cody Rhodes, opened the show with a thunderous ovation from the crowd. Rhodes mentioned legends of the past who won King of the Ring crowns, including Stone Cold Steve Austin, Triple H, Bret Hart, and Booker T. Cody said that he would go on to face John Cena at SummerSlam.

Randy Orton arrived in the ring. He said that he promised to do everything to win at Night Of Champions. However, he hesitated, but Cody pulled the trigger. Orton just wanted to make sure that Rhodes wouldn’t waste the shot and would beat Cena at SummerSlam. Drew McIntyre made his return, and the fans cheered him. He called Cody and Randy to shut up. McIntyre called them betas while he was alpha.

McIntyre said that the legend of Randy Orton was dead at WWE Night Of Champions 2025. Cody took advantage of Randy’s injured back while Orton hesitated to hit the Punt Kick. Drew said that Randy was once known as The Viper, the Legend Killer, and the Apex Predator. McIntyre named Rhodes as Super Cody. Drew wanted Cody to win at SummerSlam so that he could challenge him and create a 20-year-long match. Orton gave McIntyre an RKO and left.

    Grades: B+

Analysis: It was a solid opening to the show. Randy Orton isn’t fully mad at Cody so far. He wants him to beat John Cena. On the other hand, Drew McIntyre is back, and Randy looks like his first enemy. The story is expected to be interesting in the coming weeks.

    Backstage

Nick Aldis asked Charlotte Flair for a women’s tag team titles opportunity at Evolution. Alexa Bliss joined and wanted to be partners with Flair. The Queen hardly agreed. Drew McIntyre reached Nick Aldis and demanded a match with Randy Orton. Aldis made the match for Saturday Night’s Main Event. Jacob Fatu came there and had a brief faceoff with the Scottish Warrior before McIntyre left. Aldis said that Fatu needs to have a partner to face Solo Sikoa and JC Mateo tonight. Jimmy Uso came out as Fatu’s tag partner.

Secret Hervice vs Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss vs Michin and B-Fab

    credit: WWE

Michin landed chops to Flair, then dropped both Flair and Niven with a well-timed kick. Flair responded with a big boot to Michin. Michin took flight with a suicide dive, wiping both Flair and Bliss out. Niven followed with a cannonball onto Michin and B-Fab. Flair delivered a spear to Niven, followed by a moonsault onto both Niven and Fyre. Chelsea Green tried to interfere, but Flair shut her down with a big boot. Bliss landedTwisted Bliss onto Fyre and Niven for the win.

    Winners: Alexa Bliss

    Grades: C

Analysis: It was a short match. Everyone knew Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair would win the second they were inserted in the match. It’s an interesting alliance between Flair and Bliss, and it will benefit the tag team division.

Wyatt Sicks vs Johnny Gargano, Chris Sabin, Montez Ford, and Berto

    credit: WWE

With each team having problems with Wyatt Sicks, Aldis picked one member from each team to go against the faction. Berto started with a flying crossbody onto Joe Gacy. Gacy knocked Berto down with a clothesline, but Berto responded with a springboard crossbody off the second rope. Dexter Lumis tagged in, as did Johnny Gargano. Lumis hit a spinning side slam to Gargano.

The action quickly escalates when Uncle Howdy enters the ring, causing chaos. Everyone jumps in, and Rowan tries to attack Gargano and Berto but gets hit with superkicks from Sabin and Ford. The SmackDown tag team veterans try to take control, but Rowan fights back, throwing Ford into a superkick from Lumis. The match goes to commercial, with the Wyatt Sicks gaining momentum.

After the break, the Wyatt Sicks dominate, targeting Ford with their signature moves. Sabin tags in and delivers a missile dropkick, sparking a comeback. He teams up with Gargano for a double kick, but the teamwork falls apart. Ford leaps onto Gacy and Lumis outside while Berto gets thrown out by Howdy. In the ring, Howdy slams Sabin, and Rowan takes over. Sabin tries to tag Gargano, but Gargano refuses, leaving Sabin helpless. Rowan finishes Sabin with the Iron Claw Slam, securing the win for the Wyatt Sicks.

    Winner: Wyatt Sicks

    Grade B

Analysis: It is a good win for the Wyatts. They had the aura to rule any division, and WWE must give them proper build from the start. Johnny Gargano and Montez Ford are skilled at selling their opponents’ moves. Sabin and Berto also did great work in this match. It looks like Wyatt Sicks will soon move to the Tag Team Title victory.

Trish Stratus Challenges Tiffany Stratton at Evolution

    credit: WWE

Tiffany Stratton struts to the ring, championship over her shoulder, ready to make her big announcement. She grabs the mic and smirks that everyone’s been gunning for her since winning the title. Nia Jax attempted to eliminate her, but she survived their brutal Last Woman Standing match. Now, she’s got her sights set on Jade Cargill at SummerSlam… but first, she’s got a surprise for Evolution.

Before she can drop the bombshell, Jade’s music hits. The Queen of the Ring saunters down, crown gleaming, mic already in hand. She said she earned that crown by beating legends, and if Tiffany picks the wrong opponent for Evolution, she might not even make it to SummerSlam 2025. But honestly? Jade does not care who’s across the ring in August because she’s walking out champion.

Tiffany just laughs and waves her hand. Trish Stratus’ music hit. The crowd loses it as the Hall of Famer steps into the ring. Tiffany claims, “What’s Evolution without a little Stratusfaction?” Then she makes it official: she wants Trish at Evolution.

Trish takes the mic, her voice full of emotion. She talks about how far women’s wrestling has come, from fighting for scraps to headlining major shows. She thanks Tiffany for giving her kids a chance to see her wrestle again… but drops the mic with one last thought: “They have never seen their mom as champion.”

Tiffany does not flinch. She tells Trish this is not the Attitude Era because she’s a whole new kind of threat. Whether it’s Trish at Evolution or Jade at SummerSlam, one thing’s certain: WWE still runs on Tiffy Time.

    Grade B+

Analysis: Tiffy is gaining confidence day by day. Jade Cargill has gained enough momentum to beat her at Summerslam, but before that, she had to pass through legendary Trish Stratus. Tiffy faced multiple threats to her title reign this summer. The women’s division on SmackDown became an interesting part of the show.

    Backstage

Solo Sikoa introduces Tala Tonga as the newest member of his family in his office. He declares his group is stronger than ever and nothing like The Bloodline. With the family now complete, Solo and JC Mateo prepare for tag team action later in the night.

Backstage, Jade Cargill confronts Trish Stratus, warning her that if she beats Tiffany Stratton at Evolution, she will have to face Jade at SummerSlam. Trish stays calm and walks away, only for Naomi to ambush Jade with her Money in the Bank briefcase. As Jade hits the floor, SmackDown GM Nick Aldis rushes over while Naomi escapes, looking pleased with herself.

Fraxiom vs Andrade & Rey Fenix

    credit: WWE

The match starts with Frazer and Axiom working together to wear Fenix down, keeping him trapped in submissions. Fenix fights free, hitting a flashy DDT to create space. Andrade tags in hot, paying tribute to Eddie Guerrero with Three Amigos suplexes. Fenix follows up with a Frog Splash, but Frazer kicks out.

Fenix tries a high-risk move, but Frazer cuts him off with a superplex and a stiff superkick. Andrade saves Fenix from the pin, keeping them in the fight. After a break, Frazer misses a Phoenix Splash, and Andrade takes over with hard-hitting strikes. Fraxiom nearly steals the win with a Spanish Fly–Phoenix Splash combo, but Fenix makes a heroic save.

In the end, Fenix wipes out Axiom at ringside while Andrade finishes Frazer with The Message for the win. Andrade & Rey Fenix defeat Fraxiom.

    Winner: Andrade and Rey Fenix

    Grade C+

Analysis: The winners get some momentum after this match. All four competitors need victories to gain momentum, but WWE only goes behind the two stars who will soon become singles stars. It is interesting to see if Fenix stayed with Andrade or became a partner to his brother soon.

    Backstage

Next Friday’s SmackDown is shaping up to be action-packed, with Damian Priest facing Aleister Black after a tense confrontation, plus The Wyatt Sicks’ Joe Gacy and Dexter Lumis challenging the Street Profits for the World Tag Team Titles. Meanwhile, WWE confirmed two huge matches for next Sunday’s Evolution event: Tiffany Stratton will defend her Women’s Championship against Trish Stratus, and Jade Cargill will go one-on-one with Ms. Money in the Bank, Naomi.

Solo Sikoa & JC Mateo vs Jacob Fatu & Jimmy Uso

    credit: WWE

The match began with Solo Sikoa strategically avoiding Jacob Fatu, instead tagging in JC Mateo to absorb the punishment from both Fatu and Jimmy Uso. Mateo struggled against the onslaught until he managed to stun Jimmy with a powerful strike, creating an opening for Solo to re-enter the match. Seizing the moment, Sikoa delivered his signature Spinning Solo to Jimmy and then taunted Fatu by mockingly performing his opponent’s signature dance. It was a clear psychological jab that sent the match into its final commercial break with tensions running high.

When the action resumed, Mateo attempted to maintain momentum with a back elbow and corner splash, but Jimmy expertly dodged and countered with a crushing Samoan Drop. This pivotal moment set the stage for the long-awaited clash between Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu. Fatu entered with explosive energy, overwhelming Solo with a barrage of offense, vicious headbutts in the corner, a breathtaking springboard moonsault, and a thunderous Swanton Bomb that electrified the crowd. Just as Fatu seemed poised for victory, Mateo interfered, only to be met with a blistering superkick from Jimmy, who then launched himself over the ropes to wipe out Mateo on the outside with Fatu’s assistance.

Fatu’s dominance continued as he executed another picture-perfect moonsault on Solo, securing the pinfall victory. However, the post-match scene quickly devolved into chaos. Fatu, still fired up, prepared to drive Solo through the announce table, but Tala Tonga made a timely save. Jimmy rushed to retaliate, only to be intercepted by the sudden arrival of Tonga Loa, who hurled him directly into Tala’s clutches. What followed was a calculated dismantling: Tala leveled Jimmy with a brutal big boot, Mateo spiked him with Tour of the Islands, and Loa added further punishment with a hanging neckbreaker off the apron. Meanwhile, Solo delivered a ruthless Samoan Spike to Fatu while his allies restrained him.

The carnage reached its peak when Tala Tonga hoisted Fatu onto his shoulders and powerbombed him through the announce desk in a devastating finale. The show closed with Solo’s faction standing tall over their decimated opponents, sending a clear message of dominance and leaving no doubt about their ruthless cohesion. The brutal post-match assault not only solidified their unity but also set the stage for an even more intense rivalry moving forward.

    Winner: Fatu and Uso

    Grade B+

Analysis: This story has potential, but it is not a story that involves Roman Reigns. WWE must build it properly through this storyline so that they can sell it to the fans. The last Bloodline story featured Roman Reigns, the company’s biggest star. Here, all competitors are still finding their footing in WWE. Fatu and Solo are the only stars who had some following so far. Can Tala overcome the aura of Fatu? You will get the answer in the next few weeks. It was all from our WWE SmackDown July 04 Results, Winners, Grades, and Analysis.
