WWE visited Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio, for the June 23rd episode of Monday Night Raw. The show featured two important semifinal matchups for the King and Queen of the Ring Tournaments. Becky Lynch and Bayley collided in a women’s IC Title bout. Let’s take a look at everything that happened on the show and dive into WWE RAW Results June 23.
Monday Night Rollins

The show kicked off with Mr. Money In The Bank Seth “Freakin” Rollins alongside Paul Heyman, Bron Breakker, and Bronson Reed. The fans chanted “CM Punk” as they arrived in the ring. Rollins told the crowd that they were chanting “CM Punk,” and they’d be chanting “OTC” a minute later, and then they’d be singing The Visionary’s theme song after that. Rollins said that the fans have no idea what they have. Seth became the man to tell the people what’s best for them.
Seth called himself the past, present, and future of WWE and said that everything exists because of him. Rollins claimed that Roman Reigns exists because of him, CM Punk and Cody Rhodes returned because of him, and that he was the first NXT and World Heavyweight Champion. He said that they deal with opposition diplomatically, but LA Knight threw in his hands and suffered several Tsunamis. Penta will learn his lesson as well.
Rollins named John Cena, Gunther, Goldberg, Randy Orton, Cody Rhodes, and Jey Uso, and said that they all are struggling for the second position. He pointed at the Money In The Bank briefcase and said that it was the end game. The finish line is Seth “Freakin” Rollins.
Grades: B-
Analysis: It was a solid promo from Seth Rollins to kick off RAW. He made some strong points here. However, the faction has failed so far to garner the attention they were supposed to. The need for stars like Roman Reigns is there to up the game.
Penta vs Bron Breakker

Penta started well and delivered a hurricanrana followed by a springboard crossbody. Breakker returned with a backdrop and a suplex. He continued the dominance with a backbreaker. Penta landed a superkick followed by a senton to the outside. Back in the ring, Penta landed a few chops and a fisherman’s suplex for a two-count.
Penta climbed to the top rope and Breakker delivered Frankenstiener for a near fall. Breakker prevented the Mexican Destroyer but suffered a DDT. Penta followed it with a Mexican Destroyer for a near fall. Penta went for an aerial move, but Breakker crashed into him with a midair spear for the win. After the match, Rollins and others celebrated and Seth warned Penta to stay out of the way.
Winner: Bron Breakker
Grades: B
Analysis: It was a decent match. Breakker got a major win because Penta rarely loses. Rollins is weakening the opposition one by one using his soldiers, Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed.
Backstage
Adam Pearce approached AJ Styles and told him that Dominik Mysterio was hurt and the match at Night of Champions was off the shelf. Styles was angry and said that Dom’s dodging him. New Day arrived with a new photoshoot idea. Pearce made their match against Finn Balor and JD McDonagh for next week. Bayley and Lyra Valkyria apologized to each other for last week. Bayley said that Lyra would be first in line when she wins the women’s IC Championship.
The Judgment Day missed Liv Morgan in the clubhouse. Balor told Dominik to get medically cleared. He told Roxanne Perez to win Queen of the Ring. Balor said that he and JD McDonagh would become tag team champions and Raquel Rodriguez, the one-half of the women’s tag team champions, will take care of Rhea Ripley. Dom said that he misses Morgan and Perez consoled him. Nothing was discussed about Liv’s replacement as Liv Morgan got injured last week.
Goldberg’s Interview
A video package was aired where Goldberg sat down in an interview with Michael Cole. Goldberg said that the disrespect by Gunther in front of his family was unbearable, and he came for revenge. Goldberg aimed to teach Gunther a lesson by beating him at Saturday Night’s Main Event. Cole mentioned on commentary that it’d be Goldberg’s final match but winning the title could change things.
Jade Cargill vs Roxanne Perez – Queen of the Ring Tournament’s Semifinal

The match began and Perez left the ring multiple times before locking horns with Cargill. Jade delivered a backbreaker to Roxanne and did some pushups. At ringside, Perez caught Cargill’s leg and hit a dropkick onto the steel steps. Back in the ring, Perez landed a springboard moonsault for a two-count. Perez jumped from the top rope, but Cargill caught her into a Fallaway slam.
Jade hit a spinebuster and a chokeslam for a near fall. Perez landed a face kick followed by a double knee strike to the back of the neck. Perez attempted the Pop Rocks, but Jade countered it into a powerbomb. Cargill delivered Jaded for the win. Cargill and Asuka, the finalists, confronted each other on the stage.
Winner: Jade Cargill
Grades: C
Analysis: It was not so good of a match. It felt sloppy at times. Jade Cargill has reached the final of the Queen of the Ring tournament where she’d battle Asuka. Roxanne Perez was a deserving name too, but it looks like it’s finally time for Jade Cargill’s monster push.
Gunther responds to Goldberg

Gunther arrived in the ring and said that Goldberg ruined his title reclaiming celebration last week on Raw. He said that he thought about being next for the whole week. Gunther said that Goldberg was the most dominant man in 1999, but it’s 2025 now and The Ring General is the guy.
Gunther said that he’s the best professional wrestler and the World Heavyweight Title is the proof. Gunther called Goldberg a 50-year-old one-trick pony. Gunther asked for Goldberg’s family to forgive him for what he’d do to Goldberg. The Ring General vowed to bury Gunther’s legacy at Saturday Night’s Main Event.
Grades: B+
Analysis: Gunther’s improvement on the microphone is a thing of appreciation. He delivered solid shots on Goldberg. The hype is slowly building for this battle. Many fans criticize Goldberg, but he brings eyeballs to any stuff he does in WWE.
Backstage
Becky Lynch said that she heard what Bayley and Lyra Valkyria conspired against her. She bumped into Sami Zayn. Karrion Kross arrived there as well with Scarlett. Kross said that he told Zayn what would happen, and Sami lost to the Viper, Randy Orton. Karrion told Zayn that he’d never be a world champion. Sami punched him and said that their match is on. Kross and Scarlett smiled and Kross told her that they had got him.
Becky Lynch (c) vs Bayley – Women’s IC Championship

Both women tried their finishers in the beginning, but none succeeded. Becky targeted Bayley’s arm. Bayley responded with a knee strike and a modified side slam for a two-count. Bayley delivered a sunset flip powerbomb into turnbuckle. Becky followed Bayley on the middle rope and delivered a suplex. Bayley applied the half crab, but Becky reached the bottom rope. Bayley caught Lynch with her own move, the Manhandle Slam for a near fall.
At ringside, Lynch sent Bayley over the commentary desk and buried her under a pile of steel chairs. Lyra Valkyria came out to help Bayley. Becky punched Lyra and got back in the ring. Valkyria climbed the apron, but Bayley pulled her down. Bayley caught Lynch at ringside and sent her into the ring post and barricade. Lyra came in and attacked Lynch. The referee ended the match in disqualification. Bayley and Valkyria argued as Lynch smiled and left.
Winner: Becky Lynch via DQ.
Grades: B+
Analysis: It was a fine match while it lasted. The tensions are clear between Bayley and Lyra which have allowed Becky to take advantage. This is an interesting feud now going in a 3-way towards WWE SummerSlam 2025.
Rhea Ripley and Raquel Rodriguez’ Brawl
Raquel Rodriguez appeared and called out Rhea Ripley to the ring. Ripley walked down the ramp in anger. She landed a big boot and sent Raquel to the outside. Rodriguez sent her into the timekeeper’s area at ringside. Ripley fought back but Roxanne Perez got involved. Perez got slammed onto the apron by Ripley. However, the distraction allowed Raquel to gather herself up. Rodriguez delivered a Tejana Bomb to Ripley through the table.
Grades: B
Analysis: There is some interest here with two powerhouses colliding. It will keep Rhea busy for a while. On the other hand, Raquel can get the most benefit from this rivalry. Backstage, Ripley approached Adam Pearce and got a match against Rodriguez.
Cody Rhodes vs Jey Uso – King of the Ring Tournament’s Semifinal

Cody Rhodes faced Jey Uso in the semifinal of the King of the Ring Tournament in the main event. Jey delivered a shoulder tackle and a hip toss. Cody responded with a hip toss of his own. Rhodes locked in Figure Four, but Uso escaped and delivered a Samoan Drop. Cody landed a superplex from the top rope. Jey executed the snap powerslam, but Cody bounced back quickly with a Cody Cutter for a two-count.
Rhodes attempted the Disaster Kick, but Jey hit a spear for a near fall. Uso went for another spear, but Cody caught him with a Cody Cutter. Uso reversed Cody’s Cross Rhodes and delivered a Cross Rhodes himself for another near fall. Jey landed a pair of superkicks and a spear. He climbed to the top for the splash but Cody delivered Cody Cutter. Rhodes delivered Cross Rhodes for the win. Both men shook hands after the match as the show closed.
Winner: Cody Rhodes
Grades: B+
Analysis: It was a solid action-packed match in the main event. Cody and Jey delivered great performances. The American Nightmare has advanced and will meet The Viper in the final. We’ve got ourselves a dream match in the King of the Ring Tournament’s final.
