Grade B+
Analysis
The addition of Reed at WWE Saturday Night Main Event made this group more threatening. Paul explained his addition with a brilliant reason. The promo was almost similar to what they were saying in the past few weeks. However, Reed and Breakker will be a power unit under the guidance of Paul Heyman and Seth Rollins. Rollins vowing to win the Money in the Bank gave the old vibes of his career when he stepped foot towards glory by winning the world title using the contract.
Chad Gable vs Dragon Lee vs Penta in Money in the Bank Qualifying Match
Penta’s back body dropped Dragon Lee onto the apron while Gable was sent to the floor. The action was fast-paced, with kicks and dropkicks flying. As the match continued, Gable and Penta battled on the announce desk. Dragon Lee made a big impact by sending Penta over the ropes. The two luchadors exchanged kicks and powerful moves, creating a thrilling back-and-forth. Gable tried to assert his dominance with a German suplex on both Lee and Penta. The high-flying action continued, with near falls and explosive moves keeping the crowd on the edge of their seats.
In the end, Penta emerged victorious by pinning Chad Gable with a Penta Driver. The match showcased incredible athleticism and teamwork, with each wrestler bringing their unique style to the ring. Penta’s win added to his reputation as a top competitor, leaving the audience eager for more action.
Winner: Penta
Grade B+
Analysis
WWE used Gable in this match to showcase the mystery related to Chad Gable as El Grande Americano. There was a horrible move in the centre of the ring where Penta dropped Gable on his head. It is a good decision to give Penta a shot at the briefcase. He will provide some top high-flying moves to amuse the fans.
Backstage at Judgment Day’s Clubhouse
In the Judgment Day clubhouse, Carlito and Dominik Mysterio are enjoying a game of WWE 2K25 when Roxanne Perez arrives with a tray of chicken nuggets and offers a shoulder rub. Just then, Liv Morgan bursts in with a loud “KONNICHI WA BITCHES!” Roxanne tries to introduce herself, but Liv interrupts, asking Dominik what’s happening and mentioning that Raquel Rodriguez has been keeping her in the loop. Liv plans to speak to Adam Pearce about a Money in the Bank qualifier. Everyone is excited about Liv’s return, but Carlito humorously warns Dominik to stop trying to take Roxanne’s nuggets.

After the match, Rusev puts Tozawa in a sleeper hold, and referee Jessika Carr tries to intervene. Just then, Sheamus rushes in to make the save, leading to a tense staredown between him and Rusev. With a crooked smile, Rusev is the first to break the stare, turning away while keeping his eyes on Sheamus as he leaves the ring.
Winner: Rusev
Grade C
Analysis
Rusev destroyed Tozawa, which was the best outcome possible. Sheamus vs Rusev will be a great rivalry in the summer for both men. Both competitors have a long history together. They will surely deliver Banger after Banger.
Backstage
Tom Segura and Bert Kreischer are interviewed backstage after having Cody Rhodes on their podcast. They are excited to be there and share some laughs. Kreischer promotes his Netflix show before running off to do something, while Segura talks about his own show. Suddenly, the camera catches Kreischer with his shirt off next to the War Raiders, joking that they look like cousins. After some awkward interactions and friendly banter, the War Raiders leave, leaving Kreischer looking uncomfortably red from the situation.
After the commercial break, Sami Zayn delivers a passionate promo expressing his frustration with Seth Rollins. He feels he should have intervened during Rollins’ speech. Jey Uso then appears, questioning Sami’s plan to confront Rollins and suggesting that running into a 1-on-3 situation is unwise. Uso emphasizes the importance of strategy and tells Sami that if he wants to gain power, he needs to focus on winning the Money in the Bank briefcase. Jey assures Sami that he has his back, and the two seal their partnership with a secret handshake.
Creed Brothers vs New Day vs War Raiders for the WWE World Tag Team Championship
The match begins with an intense brawl before the bell, with the War Raiders quickly taking control. Erik slams Ivar off the apron and onto the floor, clearing the ring before throwing Kofi Kingston back inside. Once the bell rings, Erik finds himself on the floor while the Creeds and New Day work together to send him crashing into the barricade. They celebrate their teamwork by standing tall in the ring as the show cuts to a commercial break.
When the show returns, Ivar tags in and the War Raiders start to regain their momentum, delivering a big crossbody. Ivar hits a handspring double back elbow and a reverse roundhouse on Woods. As the action heats up, Julius Creed tags in, and Kofi Kingston, alongside Brutus Creed, sends Erik to the outside. Brutus hits a top-rope move, but Kofi gets caught by Ivar and slammed into the LED board. However, New Day manages to think quickly, and they win the match by pinfall when Xavier Woods rolls up a Creed, successfully retaining the WWE World Tag Team Championship.
Winner: The New Day
Grade C
Analysis
It was not a good match given the talent involved. The New Day retained the gold is a good move. But, the bad booking of Raiders and Creeds is alarming. WWE must acknowledge their talent and give them something to stay relevant.

Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez are walking together when they encounter IYO SKY and Kairi Sane. Liv mocks them, asking if it is a Damage CTRL reunion, but SKY tells her to keep moving. Liv responds that she plans to head to Adam Pearce’s office to secure a qualifying match for Money in the Bank, claiming she can do what Kairi cannot. Sane then steps up and challenges Liv to a match, which Morgan eagerly accepts, setting the stage for their upcoming confrontation.
Gunther and Jey Uso War of Words
“Main Event”, Jey Uso grabs the microphone to address the crowd. He mentions that it’s been a busy week for him, with Logan Paul getting taken out and John Cena about to face a similar fate at Money in the Bank. Just then, GUNTHER interrupts him. GUNTHER congratulates Jey on his 15 years with the Usos in WWE and his first successful title defence. However, he criticizes Jey for being too focused on helping his friends, which he believes makes him a poor champion. GUNTHER claims that being a champion requires a certain mindset that Jey lacks and vows to take the title back in two weeks.
Jey Uso responds, frustrated with everyone saying his days as champion are numbered. He declares that he is tired of people using the title as an excuse to turn their backs on their roots. He emphasizes his loyalty to his friends and family, stating that they fight for him just as he fights for them. Jey challenges GUNTHER, saying he can judge him all he wants, but when the match comes, he is confident he will retain his title.
Grade B
Analysis
It was the same old shtick from both of these guys. Gunther still could not accept his defeat at the hands of Uso at WWE WrestleMania 41. Jey Uso is sick of people thinking that he does not belong here. They will meet at WWE Summerslam for sure.
Kairi Sane vs Liv Morgan
Liv Morgan starts strong, using some hair-pulling and kicks to take control early in the match. Kairi Sane tries to fight back but misses her move from the top rope. The action spills outside, and when they return from the break, Sane blocks Morgan’s attempt at the Three Amigos and counters with a spear. Kairi follows up with a blockbuster and applies a crossleg Boston Crab, but Liv grabs her hair to force a break. After some back-and-forth, Kairi counters a move and manages to pin Liv with an overrotated schoolboy, securing the win.
Winner: Kairi Sane
Grade C
Analysis
Morgan is back and lost the first match. It was a good win for Sane, as WWE has mostly wasted her potential so far. The story will move to a tag team match in the future between Sky and Sane vs Raquel and Morgan.
Lyra Valkyria vs Becky Lynch Promo
Lyra Valkyria takes the mic to address her upcoming rematch with Becky Lynch at Money in the Bank. She expresses frustration, saying she has nothing left to prove after beating Becky twice and every other opponent she’s faced. However, she admits she felt no satisfaction in defeating Lynch at Backlash because Becky’s ego remained intact, acting as if she won despite her loss. Lyra declares that this time, it’s personal, and she’s determined to break Becky’s ego, even if it means smashing her head in.
Becky Lynch interrupts, claiming she is done with Lyra and has moved on to bigger things. She mocks Lyra, saying she won the fight at Backlash and went home with her husband, while Lyra ended up in the hospital with her fiancé. The two exchange heated words, with Becky proposing a stipulation: if she loses, she will never challenge for the title again, but if she wins, Lyra must raise her hand in victory. Lyra confidently accepts, pointing out that she’s never had an issue raising someone’s hand after beating them—something she’s yet to do with Becky. The segment ends with a tense staredown, setting the stage for their high-stakes rematch.
Grade B
Analysis
The promo battles between Becky and Lyra did not disappoint so far. It was, again, an outstanding one. But WWE must not repeat the same insults and arguments every time. They must bring something more valuable. The match with a stipulation shows that Valkyria may not win 2 in two.
Backstage

Kross taunts him, claiming that Zayn will never win the title. In response, Sami steps closer and asserts that he will deal with Karrion later, showing his determination and confidence.

Finn Balor vs Sami Zayn vs Seth Rollins for Money in the Bank Qualification
Sami Zayn attacks Seth Rollins right from the start, sending him to the floor. Finn Balor tries to pull Sami away, but Zayn counters with a suicide dive that takes Rollins out. As the action moves up the aisle, Balor rushes in and drags Zayn back to the ring, gaining control. After working over Zayn, Rollins attempts to reenter the action, but Balor takes both men down with a double DDT before the show cuts to a commercial break.
Back from the break, Zayn sets up a spectacular Arabian press Asai moonsault, wiping out both Balor and Rollins while pointing to the sky in tribute to Sabu. He throws Seth back inside the ring and tries for a Blue Thunder Driver, but Seth counters with a Falcon Arrow for a close near-fall. As the match progresses, Balor catches Rollins with a Sling Blade and a shotgun dropkick, setting up for the Coup de Grace, but Zayn cuts him off with a superplex.
Rollins takes advantage with a frog splash, leaving all three men down and out as the show heads into another break. The final stretch of the match is chaotic, with all three competitors trading counters and near-falls. Rollins finally hits a Pedigree on Balor, but Zayn breaks up the pin with a roll-up. After more counters, Zayn connects with a Blue Thunder Driver, coming within inches of victory. As Zayn lines up the Helluva Kick, Balor intercepts with a shotgun dropkick. The action peaks when Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed interfere, attacking Zayn.
Jey Uso rushes in for the save, but Dominik Mysterio tries to help Balor with a chair, only for Rollins to turn the tables. In the end, Seth Rollins wins by pinfall after hitting a Blackout on a steel chair to Balor, securing his spot in the Money in the Bank ladder match. After the match, CM Punk shocks the crowd by emerging from the audience to hit Seth with a Go to Sleep before escaping through the crowd, leaving chaos in his wake.
Winner: Seth Rollins
Grade A
Analysis
All three superstars can give a classic even from lying in the ring. They are the three most featured stars in WWE in the last decade. Seth Rollins winning the match was expected. The finishing sequence was outstanding. Will he win the Money in the Bank? It will be worth watching for sure if his powerhouses destroy all competitors to ensure his victory. Or will CM Punk or Roman Reigns return to stop him from inning and setting up a showdown at Summerslam?
