UFC consists of 11 categories, of which the Heavyweight Category is the most popular. Most fighters who fight in the heavyweight category are recognised worldwide. Here is the list of the top 5 UFC Heavyweight fighters of all time. 

5. Cain Velasquez

Cain Ramírez Velásquez is an American professional wrestler and retired mixed martial artist. Cain started his UFC career in 2006 against Jesse Fujarczyk. He was unbeaten till his 10th fight. Cain’s career record in UFC is 14-3,12KO. Cain won the UFC heavyweight championship twice in his career. In 2005, Cain won the gold medal in the PAC-10 championship.

Velasquez earned the respect of people with his outstanding fighting approach and is among Top 5 UFC Heavyweight Fighters of all time. He finished his career with a knockout defeat in 2019 against Francis Ngannou. Cain Velasquez is one of the prominent names in UFC.

4. Brock Lesnar

Brock Lesnar, one of the most famous people in the wrestling world, started his UFC career in 2007. His record in UFC is 5-3-1, 3KO. Brock won the UFC heavyweight championship in 2008 and successfully defended this title for 2 years. He lost the UFC heavyweight title in 2010 in a knockout defeat against Cain Velasquez.

Brock achieved so much more is the combat sports than other fighters in Top 5 UFC Heavyweight Fighters of all time. In 2011, Brock announced retirement from UFC but overturned his retirement decision in 2016. Brock’s last fight was against Mark Hunt, which was ended due to uncertain reasons. Brock earned more popularity in WWE than in UFC.   

3. Stipe Miocic

Stipe Miocic is an American professional mixed martial artist. Stipe competes in the Heavyweight Category of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). He made his UFC debut in 2010 with the fight against Corey Mullis. In 2016, Stipe Miocic won the UFC heavyweight title for the first time in his UFC career. Stipe defended the UFC heavyweight title for 2 years that entered him to the list of Top 5 UFC Heavyweight Fighters of all time.

In 2018, Stipe lost UFC heavyweight title with the defeat against famous American UFC fighter Daniel Cormier. In 2019, Stipe won the UFC heavyweight title for the second time. Stipe lost to UFC heavyweight in a knockout fight against famous French UFC fighter Francis Zavier Ngannou in 2021. Stipe is an active player in the UFC. He has more chances to be a permanent member of the Top 5 UFC fighters of all time.   

2. Fedor Emelianenko

Fedor Vladimirovich Emelianenko is a Ukrainian-born Russian former professional mixed martial artist. Fedor started his UFC career in 2000 against Martin Lazarov. He has significant record in UFC of 40-7-1, 16KO. Fedor is the most decorated player in the UFC. Fedor won a total of 16 medals in his entire career. However, his UFC achievements took him to the list of Top 5 UFC Heavyweight Fighters of all time.

After 3 years of his debut, Fedor won PRIDE Heavyweight Championship in 2003. Fedor holds the record of winning 15 consecutive fights. He announced retirement in 2023. Fedor will always be remembered as one of the most eminent players in the UFC. In 2010, Fedor opened a new chapter of his life by joining the United Russian political party. Fedor joined Russia’s Council of Physical Fitness & Sports by the Russian government as a staff member in 2012.

One of the most successful UFC fighters, Jon Jones joined UFC in 2008. Jon Jones has an incredible record of 27-1-1, 1KO. The only fight he lost was in 2009 against American UFC boxer Matt Hamil. After this fight in 2009, Jon has an incredible streak of winning 17 fights. Jones is still the #2 in Top 10 UFC Fighters of 2023.

Jon Jones is the youngest UFC fighter to get victory over Maurício Rua at age 23. Jones has been a Light heavyweight champion since 2011.   Jon Jones has not retired yet and has a long career to follow. He has done all these skills that can make him on the list of the Top 5 UFC heavyweight fighters of all time.
