Babar Azam’s century against Islamabad United

Babar Azam is the best batter in the PSL 2024 and also one of the top batters in the world. He played exceptionally well throughout the tournament, and his sensational century against Islamabad United ranks among the top five moments of the PSL 2024. 

On 26 February, Match 13, Babar scored his best figures (111) for PSL season 09. He scored his century in just 59 balls. He slammed his first fifty in just 39 balls and reached his century in 59 balls. 

Babar put on 77 runs for the opening wicket with young left-hander Saim Ayub. After that, he stitched together an unbeaten 77-run partnership with Asif Ali.

Babar stayed unbeaten until the end and ensured the Zalmi went past the 200-run mark. Zalmi won this match by 08 runs. Whenever Babar plays he adds value to PSL with his bat. Therefore, his magnificent century against the best bowling side of PSL 2024 was one of the Top 5 Moments of PSL 2024.

Imad Wasim vs Multan Sultans

The 2nd of the top 5 moments of PSL 2024 is named for Imad Wasim vs Multan Sultans. In match 28, the game was at a crucial stage. The scoreboard looked like IU (221-6 at 19.2 overs) needed eight runs off four balls to win the match.

Naseem Shah and Imad Wasim were at the strike. Naseem took a single and rotated the strike. Imad Wasim scored a maximum and a boundary back-to-back and won the match for IU. Akeal Hossein Hattrick in PSL: 

The West Indian spinner, Akeal Hossein, represents Quetta Gladiators in PSL 2024. He took a brilliant hat trick against Peshawar Zalmi in match 25, creating one of the Top 5 Moments of PSL 2024. Akeal Hossein dismissed Aamer Jamal, Mehran Mumtaz, and Mark Wood on consecutive deliveries in the 16th over. 

Aamer Jamal got out when he was caught behind by the keeper. Mehran Mumtaz hit the wicket, and Luke Wook was caught at slip by captain Rillee Rossouw. 

However, it came in a losing cause as Peshawar Zalmi beat Quetta Gladiators by a comfortable margin of 76 runs. On the other hand, Akeal Hossein was the best pick from QG bowlers, with his splendid figures for 23. 

Khawaja Nafay vs Lahore Qalandar

Khawaja Nafay is a rising batter who made his PSL debut for Quetta Gladiators in 2024. In the league’s initial matches, Khawaja Nafay played a crucial knock for QG. He scored 60* in just 31 balls. Nafay came to bat when the team struggled, as LQ dominated due to its excellent bowling. He came to the limelight as this match was Khawaja Nafay’s PSL debut, where he performed brilliantly, and his team won by five wickets. Arif Yaqoob 4 wickets in an Over

The 5th of the top 5 moments of PSL 2024 is named to Arif Yaqoob of Peshawar Zalmi. The real moment came when, in Match 13, Zalmi against United, IU needed just 21 runs of 14 balls. Yaqoob went to the ball. He got Colin Munro stumped on his very first ball. Fahim Ashraf was caught out by Naveen ul Haq when he tried to play a reverse shot.
