    Drew McIntyre opened the show

Drew McIntyre made his way to the ring. The crowd chanted “CM Punk”, but McIntyre responded that he was focused only on his match for the World Heavyweight Championship. Judgment Day interrupted him. Priest told Drew that it’s personal now. Priest disagreed with Drew’s statement. He said this is his title, not Judgment Day’s. Damian vowed to beat McIntyre in front of his people.

McIntyre told Priest that his time with the title will be over this weekend. As Drew repeatedly mentioned Judgment Day’s involvement in Damian’s matches, Priest made a match between Balor and McIntyre. If Drew won, Judgment Day would be barred from ringside at Clash at the Castle. Drew said he would beat Balor tonight and then Priest at Clash at the Castle.

    Grades: B

Analysis: This is a good segment to kick off Monday Night Raw. McIntyre looked confident as ever. Priest has improved on the mic very well. The focus is on tonight’s match between Drew McIntyre and Finn Balor.

Judgment Day’s Clubhouse: Dominik Mysterio was visited by the Women’s World Champion, Liv Morgan. She gave him the key to her hotel room and said she wouldn’t be afraid to call him daddy. She walked off, and Dom threw away the key.

    Iyo Sky vs Lyra Valkyria

Valkyria looked for revenge on Sky as Iyo attacked her last week. They started it as a brawl, mauling each other with punches. Lyra hit a basement dropkick and a Northern Lights suplex for a two-count. Lyra applied the pendulum submission and delivered an enzuigiri. At ringside, Sky landed an Asai Moonsault. Valkyria hit a springboard crossbody from the middle rope.

Lyra landed a spin kick and a missile dropkick, followed by a fisherman’s suplex for a near fall. Iyo bounced back with a double under hook backbreaker and a double stomp for a two-count. Lyra somehow gathered energy and hit the Nightwing. She covered Iyo, but Dakota broke the pin at two, as the referee didn’t notice. Valkyria laid out Sane and Kai at ringside.

Sky took advantage and delivered a meteora in the corner. Valkyria replied with a tornado DDT. As Lyra looked for a Nightwing, Sky pulled her hair and won via crucifix pin. They continued the attack on Valkyria, but Kayden Carter and Katana Chance made the save.

    Winner: Iyo Sky

    Grades: B-

Analysis: A fine match between Sky and Valkyria. Iyo is a master in the ring. This story is far from over, and we have a 3-on-3 situation.

Backstage: Dominik Mysterio informed Finn Balor about what happened between him and Liv Morgan earlier tonight.

    – The Miz was looking for R-Truth. He asked Sami, who didn’t have a clue. Zayn bumped into Maxxine and Tozawa. He told them what happened last week was not his fault. Maxxine said that they had seen the footage. Otis came up to him and apologized for last week. Otis said that he lost everything he had. He is nothing without Gable. Sami said that it’s wrong and Otis is a very special guy.

Rey Mysterio, Braun Strowman, and JD McDonagh vs The Judgment Day

Before the match, Priest asked about the hotel room key that Morgan had left, but nobody had a clue about the key. The first big move came in the match when Rey landed a basement dropkick on McDonagh. Dragon hit a slingshot dropkick and a vertical suplex. Mysterio landed a flying seated senton on Dominik. Lee delivered multiple hurricanrana.

JD and Dom avoided a plancha from Rey at ringside. McDonagh hit a gutbuster on Mysterio. The Judgment Day dominated Rey for a while. Mysterio fought back with a spin kick on Carlito. He went for a tag on Strowman, but Dom and JD pulled down the Monster of all Monsters. Rey delivered a tornado DDT to McDonagh. Dragon Lee was tagged in and landed a running hurricanrana on Carlito.

Dom hit a dropkick on Rey. Liv Morgan was on the apron. Dom told her to leave. Zelina Vega attacked Morgan. Strowman tagged in and hit the Strowman Express on everyone. Braun delivered a running power slam. Lee landed a splash on Carlito off Strowman’s shoulders and pinned him for the win.

Winners: Braun Strowman, Rey Mysterio, and Dragon Lee

    Grades: B

Analysis: A fun six-man tag match. The little stuff by Liv Morgan has been garnering attention from the fans. Finn Balor plays a major role in this story.

    Sami Zayn vs Otis

Before the match, Zayn cut a promo about his match against Gable at Clash at the Castle for the Intercontinental Championship. Sami called Gable a manipulative, abusive psychopath. Zayn said that he’ll end this personal story once and for all. The Alpha Academy interrupted. Gable said that Zayn is a manipulator instead of him.

He said that Alpha Academy believed in his methods. Zayn asked every member by name if he was happy. Gable told Zayn that he would unleash Gable’s version of Otis right now. In the match, Otis laid out Zayn and delivered a big splash. He did it again on Gable’s orders. Otis didn’t obey Gable for the third time. Chad yelled at Otis from the apron. Zayn took advantage and hit a Helluva Kick for the win.

Gable attacked Zayn after the match and ordered Otis to attack the IC Champion. Otis didn’t obey him. Gable shoved and slapped the big man. Otis hit the World’s Strongest Slam on Sami. Otis turned his attention to Master Gable and locked his fist for the punch. Gable begged him. Otis left the ring.

    Winner: Sami Zayn

    Grades: B+

Analysis: A dramatic segment. They are still holding Otis’ eventual turn on Gable. Clash at the Castle PLE looks like a better place to do it.

Backstage: Miz was looking for R-Truth backstage. Truth came out of a room and told Miz he met with a fortune teller. Truth said that they’ll defend their World Tag Team Championships against APA tonight. Miz was in confusion. The fortune teller was revealed to be Scarlett. She said that they’d face AOP tonight and handed Miz a death card. Truth sarcastically told Miz that they’ll die tonight as it’s written in the stars.

Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn vs Shayna Baszler and Zoey Stark

The Women’s Tag Team Champions Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair were at ringside for this one. Dawn and Fyre exchanged quick tags. Stark landed a clothesline, but Dawn replied with a snap-back suplex and a backstabber. Fyre delivered a top rope rolling senton. Shayna saved the match for her team. Baszler hit a backbreaker on Fyre, followed by a knee to the face. Shayna applied the Kirifuda Clutch for the victory.

Winners: Shayna Baszler and Zoey Stark

    Grades: C

Analysis: Painful outing for Dawn and Fyre. Baszler and Stark annihilated them. These two teams will face Belair and Cargill for the tag titles at Clash at the Castle.

    Ilja Dragunov vs Bron Breakker

These two exchanged forearms to begin. Ilja landed multiple chops on Breakker’s chest and boots to the head. Bron applied the rear chin lock and delivered a massive power slam for a two-count. Dragunov fought back with multiple lariats, which didn’t bother the big man. Breakker landed a dropkick, but Ilja replied with a Constantine Special.

Dragunov hit a running knee and a scoop slam, followed by a diving knee strike. Dragunov landed three German Suplexes for a near fall. Ilja went for a powerbomb, but Bron countered it with a back-body drop. Ilja hit a Death Valley Driver into the turnbuckles. Dragunov delivered a Coast-to-Coast missile dropkick and a top rope diving senton bomb for a near fall.

Breakker again avoided a powerbomb and hit a Steiner Line. Ilja moved out of the way of a spear and landed an H-Bomb. The action continued at ringside. Breakker hit a front suplex on the floor. He assaulted Ilja’s ribs using the apron and the ring post. Back in the ring, Breakker delivered a vicious spear. Dragunov rolled to the outside. Bron followed him and hit another spear at ringside.

barely escaped the count-out. Breakker crashed Dragunov with another spear in the ring for a win. Breakker wasn’t done with the beating and wanted to continue the attack after the match. Ricochet made the save.

    Winner: Bron Breakker

    Grades: A

Analysis: Wow! It was a superb match between former NXT champions. They showed their skills.

    Awesome Truth vs The AOP

Next was a match between Awesome Truth and The AOP for the World Tag Team Titles. AOP dominated Miz for a longer period. Miz fought back with an enzuigiri and tagged R-Truth in. Truth did his John Cena moves on Rezar. Scarlett distracted the referee, and Kross laid out Truth and Miz. The New Day attacked Kross at ringside. Truth hit Akam with the title, and Miz rolled him for the pin and the win.

    Winners: Awesome Truth

    Grades: C

Analysis: Very short match for the World Tag Team Championships. Awesome Truth needs to get more TV time. They have barely been featured since their title victory on WrestleMania Night One. Their reign is fading with time.

Backstage: Ricochet was checking on Dragunov. Breakker came out of nowhere and speared Ilja. Ricochet fought him, and the action went to the parking lot. Bron sent Ricochet into a WWE trailer and an SUV. Breakker crashed Ricochet into the windshield of a car with a power slam. Later, Ricochet was carried in an ambulance. Samantha went with him. Pat McAfee did the announcing for the main event.

    Drew McIntyre vs Finn Balor

Balor applied a headlock, but Drew laid him out with a shoulder tackle. Balor targeted Drew’s arm at ringside and slammed it into the ring post a cuple of times. Drew returned with an overhead belly-to-belly suplex, sending Balor over the commentary table. Back in the ring, Finn applied the rear chin lock. McIntyre escaped with a jawbreaker, but Finn quickly took him down with a side leg sweep.

Balor applied the armbar, but McIntyre replied with a sit-out powerbomb. McIntyre delivered a couple of clotheslines and a belly-to-belly suplex followed by a neckbreaker. Balor countered the Claymore Kick with a Slingblade. Drew rolled to the outside. Finn floored him with a somersault senton. Back in the ring, Balor landed a pair of Woo Dropkicks. He went for the Coup de Grace, but Drew hit a Glasgow Kiss.

McIntyre landed a superplex for a two-count. McIntyre delivered a Future Shock DDT. Damian Priest arrived at ringside. Carlito climbed the apron but suffered a Glasgow Kiss. McIntyre hit a Claymore Kick on JD. Balor took advantage and hit a Slingblade, followed by a Woo Dropkick. McIntyre escaped the Coup de Grace and hit a Claymore Kick for the victory. Damian Priest went face-to-face with McIntyre and raised his World Heavyweight Championship to send Raw off-air.

    Winner: Finn Balor

    Grades: B

Analysis: Drew McIntyre won. Hence, Judgment Day will be barred from ringside at Clash at the Castle.

Overall, it is a great go-home show for Clash at the Castle. There is enough hype for the show. Did you enjoy WWE RAW Results June 10?
