Roman Reigns, Paul Heyman, and Bronson Reed Opened WWE Raw

Roman Reigns came to the ring and let the crowd chant for a while. He asked Dallas to acknowledge him. Bronson Reed walked out with Paul Heyman. They stood on the stage in silence. Roman asked if they wanted to say something or just stare at him. Heyman took the microphone and said Roman had lost his touch since leaving him. He called him the Tribal Thief and said Roman feared only one man, Bronson Reed.

Heyman said Roman had never been beaten so badly that he needed a stretcher, not in football, not at family gatherings, and not in his entire WWE career. Then he said Bronson Reed was the one who finally put him on a stretcher and sent him to the hospital.

Reed said Roman’s father, Sika, and his uncle, Afa, spent forty-five years in wrestling and were never stretchered out. He asked how they must have felt watching Roman be carried away after the beating.

Roman told Reed that he did not even know his family. He turned to Heyman and said that his father would tell him to fight right now. Roman challenged Reed to fight on the spot. Heyman tried to stop him. Roman called Heyman a coward and said he was far above both of them. He said he would always be the Tribal Chief.

Heyman announced that Roman would face Bronson Reed at Crown Jewel in Australia. It would be an Australian Street Fight. Roman accepted the challenge.

As Heyman and Reed started to leave, Roman called them cowards. Reed ran back to the ring and attacked him. They brawled until referees and agents came to separate them. Roman hit a Superman Punch that sent Reed over the barricade. He stood tall in the ring with his hand raised while the crowd cheered.
    Grade B
    Analysis
A strong opening that set up the next big rivalry. Roman looked confident, but Reed and Heyman stole the segment with their mind games. The Australian Street Fight at Crown Jewel already feels huge. The Tribal Chief is in God mode again as he is giving everything to make Reed look good.

Backstage on WWE Raw, October 6

Backstage, Asuka was shouting at Adam Pearce. She demanded a match between IYO SKY and Kairi Sane for tonight. The storyline had a big turn this week, as compared to Last week’s WWE Raw. Pearce said he needed to check if there was room on the show and walked away, saying he needed a drink. Kairi Sane walked up and asked what was happening.

Asuka told her she would be facing IYO tonight. Kairi said she did not want to fight her because she still believed she could bring IYO back into the family. Asuka snapped and yelled at her in Japanese, then slapped her across the face. She told Kairi the match was happening. Kairi quietly said she understood. Asuka smiled and called her a good girl before walking off.

    Becky Lynch vs Maxxine Dupri

Becky Lynch and Maxxine Dupri started the match with a lock-up. Lynch pulled her by the hair and pushed her to the corner. Maxxine fought back, turning her around and shoving her hard. Dupri hit an armbar takedown, but Becky shoved her off. They traded slaps and takedowns. Becky hit her with stiff strikes and drove her to the mat.

Lynch landed kicks and stomps in the corner. Maxxine fought back with a Lou Thesz press and heavy punches. She caught Becky with a dropkick to the knee and then hit a cannonball senton to the floor. On the outside, Becky recovered and threw Maxxine into the barricade. She followed with an exploder suplex into the barrier before the break.

After commercials, both women traded elbows and knees. Maxxine hit a few lariats, a splash, and a fisherman suplex before locking in an ankle hold. Becky escaped and hit a superplex, then applied an armbar. Dupri rolled through into another ankle lock. Becky countered again and went for the Manhandle Slam, but Maxxine hit a German suplex and a big roundhouse kick for a near fall.

They fought to the floor again. Becky slammed Maxxine’s face on the announce desk, apron, and barricade. She even hit her with a Prime bottle, but somehow wasn’t disqualified. Referee Jessika Carr tried to control her, but Becky ignored her warnings. While Lynch was distracted outside, the referee’s count reached ten.
    Winner: Maxxine Dupri
    Grade C+
    Analysis
It was not the result everyone expected, but WWE wanted to progress the storyline. Maxxine delivered her best performance yet, showing real progress. Becky dominated most of the fight but lost her temper, leading to the count-out. This upset keeps Dupri’s momentum going while Becky gets time to rebuild.

    Backstage

Roman Reigns met The Usos backstage. Jimmy was angry about Bronson Reed insulting their uncles, Afa and Sika. Jey said they would handle it. Roman told them not to worry about that. He said he needed Jey to focus on his own career and his own chances.Roman asked who was scheduled to speak at the top of the hour. Jey said CM Punk was. Roman gave him a look and asked why it wasn’t him. Jey got the message and walked off to handle it.
Roman then turned to Jimmy and said he saw and heard everything. He asked why Jey had a problem listening to his advice. Jimmy gave him a frustrated look, and Roman walked away.

    Lyra Valkyria vs Roxanne Perez

Lyra Valkyria and Roxanne Perez started with a headlock exchange. Lyra took her down and controlled the match early. Perez countered with a headscissor, but Lyra slipped free and shoved her. They traded slaps before Perez hit a shoulder block. Valkyria responded with a rolling neckbreaker and got a two count. Roxanne focused on Lyra’s arm, tying it up in the ropes and stomping on it to hurt the elbow before the break.

After commercials, both women fought hard. Lyra landed a German suplex and a Northern Lights suplex for a near fall. Perez targeted the arm again, but Lyra fired back with a roundhouse kick. She went to the top rope, but Raquel Rodriguez got on the apron to distract her.

Perez hit an ax handle to the back. Bayley tried to help Lyra, but Perez crashed to the mat. Lyra missed a moonsault. On the floor, Raquel hit Bayley with a big boot, and Lyra dove out with a dropkick. Perez answered with a tornado DDT to the outside. Back in the ring, Perez caught Lyra off the ropes and hit Pop Rox for the win.
    Winner: Roxxane Perez
    Grade B+
    Analysis
Both women showed great chemistry and energy. Perez worked smart by targeting Lyra’s arm, while Valkyria fought with heart. Perez’s clean win gives her credibility, and the outside chaos keeps this story moving.

    Backstage

AJ Styles was being interviewed backstage when Judgment Day interrupted him. Dominik Mysterio mocked him, calling him old and asking how he expected to beat John Cena when he couldn’t even beat him.

Finn Balor said he heard that AJ and Dragon Lee wanted to challenge for the tag titles. He warned AJ that it would be a big mistake. Styles said three-on-one wasn’t fair, so he would get Dragon, find a third partner, and ask Adam Pearce to make it a trios match for later in the night.
CM Punk was shown walking backstage while Rusev and Adam Pearce argued nearby. The scene cut to a commercial break.

After the break, AJ Styles and Dragon Lee approached Penta. They asked him to be their third partner for the trios match later in the night. Penta said he was listening, but before the conversation could continue, chaos broke out nearby.Lyra Valkyria and Bayley were attacking Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez. Adam Pearce, referees, and officials rushed in to separate them as the fight got out of control.

    CM Punk Promo

CM Punk came out to a huge reaction. The crowd sang along with his theme, and he joined in with the Texas crowd chant. He said he hadn’t been around lately because Cody Rhodes is his friend, and he didn’t want to get involved in Cody’s business. He added that he had also been celebrating with his wife after they beat Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch at Wrestlepalooza. Punk said he started the year beating Seth Rollins on Netflix, and he would end the year the same way.

He pointed at a fan’s sign saying he “deserves” the world title and corrected it, saying “earned” was the right word. Punk said he’s beaten Rollins before and will do it again when he gets another shot.

LA Knight came out next. He told Punk to look into his eyes and said what he saw was a man who hadn’t been given the world title shot he deserved. Knight said Punk used to be known for his pipe bombs, but now he’s known for being a husband. He said that wasn’t an insult and praised Punk for finding love. But then he called him a bad champion who keeps getting pinned. Knight bragged that he’s never been pinned by Seth Rollins.

Punk shot back that maybe that’s because Knight has never been world champion. LA said he was the last person to pin Seth Rollins and would soon be the next world champion.

Jey Uso came out next. He said he was finally thinking clearly and was the one who deserved the next title shot. LA mocked him, saying it was the same old story, and told him to focus on tag wrestling instead.Jimmy Uso came out to calm things down, but LA kept running his mouth. Jey suddenly dropped Knight with a superkick. Punk stepped in, saying he liked Jey, but he needed to get in line. He called him “Little Roman” and told him to stick to tag team business.

Jey tried to hit Punk with another superkick, but Jimmy stopped him. Punk then punched Jey in the face and told him to stay out of his business. When Punk turned around, Jimmy hit him with a superkick of his own. The crowd erupted as both Usos stood over Punk to end the segment.
    Grade A
    Analysis
A fiery promo that brought back the edge fans love from Punk. LA Knight’s interruption gave it spark and personality. The crowd engagement and verbal battles made this one of the best Raw segments of the night. The Usos are really going to embrace the dark side.

    Iyo Sky vs Kairi Sane

Before the bell, IYO SKY attacked Asuka first. Kairi Sane quickly jumped in to help her mentor, throwing IYO back into the ring. The match officially began with Kairi and IYO trading fast moves and dropkicks. Both looked evenly matched early on.

IYO hit a big Asai moonsault to the outside before the break. After commercials, Kairi took control with a hanging headscissors and a diving elbow smash. SKY fought back with a missile dropkick and corner knees. Kairi countered with a German suplex and another elbow strike for a near fall.

Sane climbed the ropes for her top-rope elbow, but IYO got her feet up just in time. SKY hit her knees in the corner and looked ready to win, but Asuka distracted her. IYO kicked Asuka down, but Kairi attacked from behind. Kairi pinned IYO with a bridging hold while Asuka held her hands from the outside for leverage.

After the match, Asuka held IYO up, but Kairi hit her again with a spinning backfist followed by a diving elbow drop. Kairi looked torn while Asuka smiled and hugged her, happy with what she had done.
    Winner: Kairi Sane
    Grade B+
    Analysis
Another emotional chapter in the Kabuki Warriors’ story. The match was fast and physical, with Asuka’s interference changing the outcome. The post-match attack shows the tension is far from over. It will end in an outstanding one-on-one match.

The Vision and The Bloodline Saga

Backstage, Becky Lynch was pacing and ranting about her loss to Maxxine Dupri. Seth Rollins and Paul Heyman sat nearby, ignoring her. Becky said she was going to tell Adam Pearce that she needed time off to clear her head. She stormed out of the room.

After she left, Seth told Paul they needed to talk. Rollins said he had to win on Saturday, and Heyman agreed. Seth asked what would happen if he didn’t. Paul said losing wasn’t an option and that he would beat Cody Rhodes. Seth pushed for a real answer.

Heyman finally said that if Seth lost, he would lose the locker room, the faith of The Vision, and everything they had built since WrestleMania. He said Seth would ruin the Netflix era and be remembered as a second-class champion. He told him simply, “Don’t lose.”

As Paul turned to leave, Seth stopped him and asked what would happen to him if he lost. Heyman said he was Seth’s secret weapon. Seth demanded a straight answer. Paul looked at him and said that if Seth lost to Cody, he would eventually have to ask himself why Paul chose him over Roman Reigns. Then Heyman walked away. Seth stood silent and stared into the distance.

Later, Jey Uso was backstage complaining to Roman Reigns about getting punched in the face earlier. Jimmy Uso walked in, and Jey asked why he got involved in his match. He accused him of protecting CM Punk and told him to remember whose side he was on. Jimmy said he was on Jey’s side.

Jimmy then told Roman that he’s always watching and hearing everything, too. He said Roman was messing with Jey’s head and that neither of them was like him. Roman replied that Jey had changed since winning the world title. He said Jey was becoming more like him and less like Jimmy. He told Jimmy that if he wanted to help his brother, he needed to stay out of his way. Jimmy looked furious and took off his hat as Roman stared him down.

    Grade A+

    Analysis

This was one of the most powerful story segments of the night. It added real emotional depth to both Seth Rollins and Paul Heyman. Becky’s breakdown showed how far she’s fallen after the loss, while Seth’s talk with Paul was layered with tension and quiet fear. Heyman’s words hinted that his loyalty to Seth could shift again if Cody wins, planting seeds for future betrayal.

AJ Styles, Dragon Lee, & Penta vs Dominik Mysterio, Finn Balor, & JD McDonagh

AJ Styles started the match against Finn Balor. AJ hit a dropkick that sent Finn to the floor. JD McDonagh ran in but got superkicked by Penta. Dragon Lee flipped Mysterio out of the ring with a headscissor. The three babyfaces hit dives to the outside and posed together before the break.
After commercials, Penta hit a handstand kick, and AJ added a sliding elbow for a near fall. Dragon Lee tagged in but got cut off by Judgment Day. They kept him trapped in their corner with quick tags and strikes.

After another break, Lee broke free with a Liger Bomb on Dominik Mysterio. He reached the corner and tagged in Penta, who came in hot. He dropped JD with a hurricanrana and hit a double DDT on Finn and Dominik. McDonagh answered with a Spanish Fly. AJ tagged in and ran wild, hitting a splash and a spinning powerbomb.

Dragon and Penta took out Judgment Day with dives. Dominik tried to escape, but Rusev appeared and went after him. Dom tried to run off with his title, but Penta stopped Rusev with a superkick.

Back in the ring, JD tried to roll up AJ, but Styles countered and hit the Styles Clash for the win.
After the match, AJ Styles grabbed a microphone. He said his upcoming match with John Cena at Crown Jewel didn’t need any extra story. He said it wrote itself — two men meeting one last time in the ring. AJ promised they would give everything they had and that the match would be unforgettable. Commentary hyped up the full Crown Jewel lineup.

Backstage, LA Knight was shown warming up when CM Punk walked in. Punk said neither of them really wanted to face each other tonight. Knight agreed but said the match had to happen anyway. He told Punk the only thing he asked was that he not get pinned.
    Winner: AJ, Lee, and Penta
    Grade A
    Analysis
A fun trio’s match is packed with high spots. The chemistry between AJ, Lee, and Penta was smooth, and the crowd loved their teamwork. It gave AJ a solid win before he clashed with John Cena at Crown Jewel.

CM Punk & LA Knight vs the Usos

The match started fast as CM Punk and LA Knight ran into the ring and began brawling with The Usos. The referee let it go and called for the bell. Knight and Jey started as the legal men. Knight hit quick strikes and a running knee before tagging Punk. CM twisted Jey’s arm a few times, then tagged Knight right back in.

Knight questioned the fast tag but kept fighting. Jey landed a right hand and tagged Jimmy. Knight dropped him with a neckbreaker, but got caught by Jey with a cheap shot. The Usos threw him into the steel steps before the break.

After commercials, The Usos kept Knight isolated, hitting double-team moves. LA finally got free and tagged Punk. CM came in hot, throwing elbows and lariats, then hit a short-arm clothesline. He climbed up and landed the diving elbow drop. He went for the GTS, but Jimmy escaped and hit a superkick. Jey tagged in and hit a splash, but Knight broke the pin.

The fight broke down with everyone trading moves. Knight hit a BFT on Jimmy. Jey tried a spear but got caught. Punk nailed him with the Go to Sleep. Knight tagged himself in, covered Jey, and got the three count.
    Winner: Punk and Knight
    Grade A
    Analysis
The main event had great pace and crowd energy. Punk and Knight worked surprisingly well as a team, though tension was visible. The win keeps both strong, and the ending hints at future friction between them. The Usos’ story will steal the show for sure.
