WWE 2K25 Features: Game Modes, Match Types and DLC Packs 

WWE 2K25 is the latest edition in the WWE 2K Game series. With Roman Reigns as the Cover Star, it is the biggest and much-awaited edition ever. The game brings its thrills and excitement with several match types and a roster of 300+ WWE superstars. WWE 2K25 will be released worldwide on March 14 as discussed in WWE 2K25 Release Date and Details. Let’s talk about the new match types, game modes, and DLC Pack alongside several other WWE 2K25 Features.  

WWE 2K25 Match Types and Stipulations  

WWE 2K25 is as exciting as ever with multiple new match types and stipulations added. The newest added match types include: 

• The Bloodline Rules Match  
• Intergender matches will officially debut in the WWE 2K25. It is a huge announcement and the fans couldn’t wait more.  
• Special Guest Referee is now supported in multiple match types rather than just one-on-one matches.  
• Underground Matches will be a part of 2K25 with wrestling in a ring without ropes.  
• There is improvement in the Brawls as they can be anywhere now from WWE Archives to NXT’s parking lot.  
• Other than that, there are singles matches, tag team action, and handicap matches.  
• Extreme Rules matches 
• Hell in a Cell 
• 30-star Royal Rumble matches 
• Battle Royals 
• Elimination Chamber and Steel Cage matches 
• TLC Match 
• Gauntlet Matches 
• WarGames  
• Casket Match 
• Ambulance Match 
• Iron Man matches 
• Falls Count Anywhere  
• Last Man Standing  
• Money in the Bank

• Tournaments in both the tag team and the singles action.  

WWE 2K25 Features: Game Modes 

The Island 

The Island will be available for PS5 and Xbox series X players. It is a special mode related to Roman Reigns and The Bloodline. It has a tagline “Rule Beyond the Ring”, which gives us a preview of what’s to come. The players will be allowed to compete in an open world. They will get a WWE Contract by completing the challenges and impressing the OTC, Roman Reigns.  

2K Showcase Mode: Bloodline Dynasty 

The Bloodline Dynasty will rule the all-new Showcase mode in WWE 2K25. It will be hosted by the Wiseman Paul Heyman. Players will be allowed to etch the history by competing in popular matchups of the past involving The Rock, Yokozuna, The Wild Samoans, and Roman Reigns. You can experience dream matches between stars of the past and the present like Roman Reigns vs The Rock. 

MyGM Mode 

Battle of Brands will take over WWE 2K25 with improved gameplay. You can build your own Raw, SmackDown, or NXT brand from reach and take it to the heights. The players will be allowed to book and monitor the show. There will be drafts and cross-brands Premium Live Events which makes this mode more fascinating. You can evaluate your show’s performance week by week and make improvements to make your brand the “A” brand in the WWE.  

MyRISE Mode 

MyRISE mode will continue its popularity with much-improved graphics and gameplay. The players will be allowed to create their own unique superstar in the creation suite. You will be able to start from the bottom and reach the top of WWE. There will be invasion storylines where superstars like Kevin Owens and Bayley will invade NXT and try to control the whole WWE company. Also, there will be interesting angles where you can ally with Seth Rollins, Jey Uso, and several bigger stars.  

WWE 2K25 DLC Packs 

DLC Packs in WWE 2K25 will give the players access to new and upcoming NXT stars and a few other stars not part of the usual roster in the game. It also includes legends, celebrities, and unique items.  

New Wave Pack  

As the name suggests, this pack will bring new stars making their debut in the game. The New Wave Pack will be released in May. It includes:  

• Motor City Machine Guns  
• Giulia  
• Stephanie Vaquer  

One celebrity star will be added as well.  

Dunk and Destruction Pack 

It will be released in June. The pack includes: 

• The Great Khali 
• Abyss 
• Three NBA celebrity stars.  

Fearless Pack  

Releasing in July, the Fearless Pack will include: 

• Penta 
• Jordynne Grace  
• Bull Nakano 
• New Jack 

Other than these, a celebrity star will be added.  

Attitude Era Superstars Pack 

Attitude Era Superstars will be a part of this pack. It will be released in September including:  

• Mark Henry  
• Road Dogg 
• Victoria  
• Billy Gunn 
• D’Lo Brown 

Saturday Night’s Main Event Pack 

It will be released in November including: 

• Jesse Ventura  
• Tito Santana 
• Sid Justice 
• Paul Orndorff (Mr. Wonderful) 
• Junk Yard Dog 

Wyatt Sicks Pre-Order Pack 

It will be included with other editions of the game as well like The Deadman and The Bloodline edition. All the members of Wyatt Sicks will be available.

Deadman Edition Pack 

It will be released on March 07 including: 

• The Undertaker (90’s)

Releasing on March 07, it will include: 

• Roman Reigns (2013) 
• The Rock (1997) 
• Jey Uso Elite card 
• YEET tank top and sunglasses  
• OTC and Family Above All merch  

WrestleMania 41 Pack 

The actual date of launch hasn’t announced for this pack yet. In the pack, players will be allowed to play the main events of both nights of WrestleMania 41. Other than that, they will receive special cards for multiple stars.  

WWE 2K25 Supercharger 

WWE 2K Supercharger is primarily associated with legendary superstars from the past and a few iconic arenas from the history books. It includes:  

• Eddie Guerrero 
• Rob Van Dam 
• Stacy Keibler 
• SummerSlam ‘88 and WCW Fall Brawl WarGames arenas. 

It is an interesting mode and will be available alongside The Deadman and The Bloodline Edition.  

2K’s Sandbox Mode 

This year, the Sandbox mode has made many improvements. Superstar’s connection with the WWE Universe has expanded. The promos have returned, and there will be new cutscenes. This will make the playing experience better than ever.
