    Dolph Schayes a professional basketball player from the United States. He was born in New York City on May 22, 1928 with the number 22. Additionally he weighed 195 pounds (88 kilograms) and stood at a height of 6 feet 7 inches (2.01 meters).

    Over the course of his college basketball career Schayes was a member of the New York University squad that qualified for the NCAA Tournament in 1949. In 1948 he was selected by the Syracuse Nationals which are now known as the Philadelphia 76ers.

    He went on to play in the National Basketball Association for a total of sixteen seasons during which he was selected for twelve All-Star games and won the 1955 NBA Championship. He was a formidable center who was known for his attacking, rebounding, and defensive abilities.

    Schayes was a formidable player. In 1973 he was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame and he was the leader in rebounding for the National Basketball Association six times. After serving as a player-coach for the Nationals Schayes went on to become the head coach of the Buffalo Braves which is now known as the Los Angeles Clippers.

    Since he is considered to be one of the greatest NBA players of all time he has left behind a legacy that will continue to motivate basketball players in the years to come.

    Michael George Mikan a professional basketball player from the United States. He was born on June 18, 1924 in the city of Joliet Illinois. On average he weighed 245 pounds (111 kilograms) and stood at a height of 6 feet 10 inches (2.08 meters).

    He was a member of the DePaul University basketball team that made it to the NCAA Tournament in 1945. Mikan played college basketball at DePaul University. He was a professional basketball player who competed for the Chicago American Gears, the Minneapolis Lakers, and the New York Knicks. During his time with these teams he won five NBA seasons and seven scoring titles.

    Mikan was a dominant center who was known for his hook shot and defensive abilities. As a result he was given the nickname “Mr. Basketball.” In addition to being elected into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 1959 he was named the Most Valuable Player of the National Basketball Association four times.

    Mikan’s remarkable career paved the way for subsequent generations of basketball players insuring his position as one of the most accomplished players in the history of the National Basketball Association (NBA). However his contributions to the game are still recognised today despite the fact that he passed away on June 1, 2005.

    Bob Cousy nicknamed “Houdini of the Hardwood”. He was a professional basketball player from the United States who was born on August 28, 1928 in Manhattan New York. His height was 6 feet 1 inch (1.85 meters) and his weight was 175 pounds (79 kilograms).

    When Cousy was a student at Holy Cross College he was a member of the basketball team that won the 1947 NCAA Tournament under his leadership.

    While he was a professional player for the Boston Celtics he was selected to thirteen All-Star teams and won six National Basketball Association championships. Cousy was a pioneering point guard who was known for his great passing skills, vision, and leadership, all of which contributed to the remarkable transformation of the position.

    In addition to being elected into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 1970 he was named the Most Valuable Player of the National Basketball Association three times.

    The extraordinary career and legacy of Cousy have served as a source of motivation for numerous generations of basketball players thereby solidifying his position as one of the game’s all-time greats.

    His contributions to the game of basketball are still recognised and cherished and he is considered a pioneer in the current era of basketball.

    American basketball player George Yardley was born on November 22, 1928 in Hollywood California. He is now playing professionally in the United States. On average he weighed 190 pounds (86 kilograms) and stood at a height of 6 feet 5 inches (1.96 meters).

    During his time at Stanford University Yardley was a member of the collegiate basketball team that advanced to the Final Four of the NCAA Tournament in 1949. He was a professional basketball player who played for the Fort Wayne Pistons, Syracuse Nationals, and New York Knicks.

    He was selected for seven All-Star games and won the scoring championship in the National Basketball Association in 1954. Yardley was a formidable player during his time period because of his scoring, rebounding and defensive ability. He was a powerful forward who was noted for his abilities.

    During his time at Yale University Lavelli was a standout on the basketball court. Both the Boston Celtics and the New York Knicks were among the teams he played for during his professional basketball career. He was selected for two All-Star games and led the Celtics to the National Basketball Association championship in 1951.

    Lavelli was a powerful forward who excelled at scoring rebounding, and defense which made him a great asset to the teams he played for. In addition to being a skilled musician he entertained himself by playing the accordion in his spare time.

    In addition to being one of the greatest players in the history of basketball Lavelli’s incredible career and legacy have served as a source of motivation for numerous generations of basketball players. However his contributions to the game are still recognised today despite the fact that he passed away on January 8, 1998.
