WWE is done with Premium Live Events in 2023. There will be no PLE in December. It has been a fun year, and most of the WWE’s premium live events delivered above expectations. A total of 11 Premium Live Events happened this year, each with great main event matches. Based on the wrestling quality and storytelling, we will be Rating Every WWE PLE Main Event of 2023 out of 5 points.
Roman Reigns vs Kevin Owens
PLE: Royal Rumble
The main event in Royal Rumble 2023 featured Roman Reigns defending his Undisputed WWE Universal Championship against Kevin Owens. It was one of the most dramatic PLE endings of all time. So, it is exceptional in Rating Every WWE PLE Main Event of 2023. Reigns defeated KO and retained his Title. After the match, the entire Bloodline continued the assault on Owens.
They handcuffed him to the ropes. Sami Zayn was watching all this, and The Tribal Chief ordered him to attack Owens with a chair. Zayn eventually hit Roman Reigns in the back with the chair, parting his ways with The Bloodline. It was a good match, and the post-match angle exceeded all expectations.

Roman Reigns vs Sami Zayn
PLE: Elimination Chamber
Sami Zayn finally got his opportunity against Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Title at Elimination Chamber in his hometown of Montreal. Sami’s popularity had sky-rocketed in those days. The match was awesome and had moments where Zayn looked believable to beat Roman Reigns. In the end, however, Reigns retained the Title. Sami got the last laugh in front of his family and home crowd as he delivered a Helluva Kick to The Tribal Chief in a post-match angle to close the show.

The Usos vs. Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn
PLE: WrestleMania Night 1
KO and Sami challenged The Usos for the Undisputed Tag Team Titles in the main event of night 1 of WrestleMania. It was the first of its kind match to main event WrestleMania. Before this, we only saw a Tag Team main event at WrestleMania One. It was one of the most perfect WWE matches, with emotions and storytelling at best.
Sami Zayn finally got his redemption as he won the Undisputed Tag Team Titles with his long-time friend, Kevin Owens. The Usos’ Title reign came to a close after a long time. It was a great payoff to an outstanding story.

Roman Reigns vs Cody Rhodes
PLE: WrestleMania Night 2
This main event is the most exciting in Rating Every WWE PLE Main Event of 2023. Cody Rhodes attempted to finish his story by facing Roman Reigns in the main event of Night 2 of WrestleMania. Rhodes won the Royal Rumble and challenged for the Undisputed WWE Universal Title.
The match was full of dramatic storytelling. There were interferences from The Bloodline, Sami Zayn, and Kevin Owens. Roman Reigns got to carry on his run as The Undisputed Champion. The result of this match is criticized to this day, as many believe Cody should have won.

Brock Lesnar vs Cody Rhodes
PLE: Backlash
Brock Lesnar’s brutal attack on Cody Rhodes on Raw after WrestleMania led to this main event match at WWE Backlash. This was a typical Brock Lesnar match with many German Suplexes, power moves, and a finisher fest. Cody pinned a bloodied Lesnar in a roll-up pin and stole the victory.

Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa vs Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens
PLE: Night of Champions
Angered by The Usos’ failure, The Tribal Chief himself challenged for the Undisputed Tag Team Championships alongside Solo Sikoa. Sami and KO looked for the final revenge on The Bloodline. Jimmy Uso turned on Roman during the match and delivered a pair of superkicks to The Tribal Chief. This led to KO and Sami retaining the Titles by pinning Sikoa. The crowd was happy with the results, but the match was not as good as others in Rating Every WWE PLE Main Event of 2023.

Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa vs The Usos
PLE: Money in the Bank
Jey and Jimmy turned against The Bloodline, which led to this Bloodline Civil War in the main Money in the Bank premium live event. It was another thrilling chapter in the Bloodline saga. At the end of the match, Jey Uso pinned Roman Reigns to secure victory. It was the first time Reigns was pinned since 2019. It was a wild moment, and suddenly, the star power of Jey Uso was raised.

PLE: SummerSlam
Jey Uso’s successful pinfall on Roman Reigns granted him a match for the Undisputed WWE Universal Title at SummerSlam PLE. It was a Tribal Combat, and the Tribal Chief’s status was on the line too. Jey tried the same way to pin Roman Reigns after a splash, but Jimmy pulled him out of the ring out of nowhere. Jimmy attacked his brother Jey and allowed the Tribal Chief to retain his Title. In Rating Every WWE PLE Main Event of 2023, this match had the most emotional touch.

Seth Rollins vs Shinsuke Nakamura
PLE: Payback
Nakamura introduced his new violent side during the build to his match against Seth Rollins for the World Heavyweight Title. Shin targeted Rollins’ back to add to his injury. It was a decent match, and Seth came out as the winner. A Curb Stomp was enough for Nakamura to stay down for a three-count. The ending was disappointing which got low rating in our Rating Every WWE PLE Main Event of 2023.

Seth Rollins vs Shinsuke Nakamura
PLE: Fastlane
This time, it was a last-man-standing match. Nakamura continued his attacks on Rollins on Raw and challenged him to a last-man-standing match to finish him. The champion accepted. The match was highly brutal, with weapons being used and both superstars competing in the crowd stands. Shin looked very strong heading into the match, but Rollins found a way to keep the challenger down for a ten-count.

Roman Reigns vs LA Knight
PLE: Crown Jewel
The Megastar LA Knight got his hands on the Tribal Chief Roman Reigns at the Crown Jewel event in Saudi Arabia. Knight looked to win the Undisputed WWE Universal Title. Knight delivered a great performance, and his popularity increased with this feud. However, he could not keep Reigns down, thanks to an assist from Jimmy Uso, and The Tribal Chief continued his reign.

Men’s WarGames Match
PLE: Survivor Series
The Judgment Day, alongside Drew McIntyre, took on Cody Rhodes, Jey Uso, Seth Rollins, Sami Zayn, and a returning Randy Orton. McIntyre shockingly joined forces with Judgment Day to get his hands on Jey Uso. Randy Orton returned in the middle of the match and delivered one of the Greatest RKOs ever. JD McDonagh suffered that RKO when thrown from the top of the cage. The face team got the victory.
CM Punk made his much-anticipated return to WWE after the match. The Chicago crowd erupted with the coming of a hometown hero. This moment alone is enough to rate this main event as the best 2023.
