    Myles Powell

    Myles Blake Powell is a professional basketball player from the United States. Powell was born on July 7, 1997. He stands 6’2″ (188 cm) and played college basketball at Seton Hall University.

    • A dynamic guard, Myles Powell, delivered sensational scoring that electrified Big East competition. In the 2018–19 season, he ranked second in conference scoring at 23.1 points per game, including eight games of 30+ points and a one-game high of 40 vs. Grand Canyon.
    • A starring role throughout his tenure, he earned Big East Most Improved Player honors and All-Big East recognition.
    • Though undrafted in 2020, Powell briefly signed with the New York Knicks before making a mark in the G League with the Westchester Knicks, where he averaged 17.8 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 4.0 assists per game.

    He graduated with a degree in communication studies in the year 2020 and was a great player for the Pirates, contributing to the club’s two bids in the NCAA Tournament. He currently plays for the Qingdao Eagles, a team that competes in the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA).

    The American basketball player Isaiah Whitehead was born on March 8, 1995. In 2016, the guard was 6 feet 4 inches (193 cm) tall. He received a degree in communication studies from Seton Hall University, where he had previously studied.

    • A sharp guard who helped propel Seton Hall to NCAA Tournament runs, Whitehead was a scoring spark during his college years.
    • He went on to play for the Brooklyn Nets during the 2016–17 NBA season and later played internationally in Israel’s top division with Ironi Ness Ziona.

    The Pirates were able to make it to the NCAA Tournament in 2016 thanks in large part to Whitehead. Who was an important player for the team? He now competes for Ironi Ness Ziona in the Israel Basketball Premier League. Whitehead is a professional basketball player.

    During his time at Seton Hall University, he participated in the basketball program. Over the course of the 2016–18 NBA season, he was a member of the Brooklyn Nets.

    Ángel Delgado

    Angel Delgado was born on November 20, 1994, in the Dominican Republic’s Bajos de Haina, which is located in the country of the Dominican Republic. There is a person in the center who is 6 feet 9 inches tall.  he attended Seton Hall University where he earned a degree in business administration in 2018, where he also completed his studies. 

    • The Dominican-born center was a rebounding force for the Pirates. He earned Big East Rookie of the Year (2015) and went on to secure All-Big East honors.
    • Though he didn’t land in the NBA, Delgado played professionally—and remains a notable international figure among Seton Hall alumni.

    The Seton Hall Pirates were his college basketball team, and he was a member of that team he played for. In addition, Delgado has the distinction of having served as a member of the Dominican national team roster.

    Sandro Mamukelashvili

    Alexander “Sandro” Mamukelashvil is a professional basketball player who was born in Georgia on May 23, 1999. He currently plays for the San Antonio Spurs, who are professional basketball players in the National Basketball Association (NBA). The Seton Hall Pirates were his college basketball team, and he played for them.

    • A skilled 6’9″ forward/center, Sandro earned Big East Co‑Player of the Year in 2021 and earned First-Team All-Big East plus the prestigious Haggerty Award.
    • Drafted 54th overall in the 2021 NBA Draft by the Indiana Pacers, Sandro began with the Milwaukee Bucks organization and G League affiliate before moving to the San Antonio Spurs and now plays for the Toronto Raptors. He’s known more recently for stepping into bigger roles off the bench.
    • Over his NBA career to date, he’s appeared in 191 games, averaging 5.2 points, 3.1 rebounds, and shooting 47.1% from the field. His best stretch came during his first half-season with San Antonio, where he averaged 10.8 ppg in limited minutes.

    Following his participation on a youth basketball team in Biella, Italy, Mamukelashvili went on to further his education at the prestigious Montverde Academy. Mamukelashvili was sidelined for many weeks due to a wrist injury while he was a junior at Seton Hall. He still managed to average 11.9 points per game. In his senior year, he was honored with the title of Big East Co-Player of the Year.

    Lennox Dominique Terry Dehere was born September 12, 1971. During his time at Seton Hall University, he was recognized as an All-American and played basketball for six seasons in the National Basketball Association (NBA).

    • A high-flying guard from 1989 to 1993, Dehere remains one of Seton Hall’s most prolific scorers with 2,494 career points, along with school marks in 3‑point field goals made and attempted.
    • He was named Big East Player of the Year (1993) and was a consensus second-team All-American, earning a No. 24 jersey retirement.
    • Drafted 13th overall by the Clippers in 1993, he enjoyed a six-season NBA career, averaging 8.0 points per game.

    He is now retired from the sport playing basketball in the United States. Following the conclusion of his playing career, Dehere went on to become involved in the politics of the Democratic Party and worked as a restaurateur.

    Dehere was born in New York City, but he spent his childhood in Jersey City, New Jersey. While attending St. Anthony’s High School, he was a member of the basketball team coached by Bob Hurley. By virtue of this connection, he developed a close friendship with Bobby Hurley, the son of the coach.
