The left-handed pacer could have a better history in T20I and league crickets. He is more of a test cricketer, lacking interest in T20 cricket. Karachi released its best bowler, Amir, meaning Mir Hamza may get a big name to partner with him after the Players Demotion in PSL 9.

Muhammad Nawaz

Asif Ali

Asif Ali is Pakistan’s lower middle-order batter known for his power-hitting style. He represented Islamabad in the PSL. For season 9 of the Pakistan Super League, Asif was regulated from the Platinum category to Gold. In the gold category, he can play for any franchise. Asif played nine matches in season 8 and scored 114 runs with a strike rate of 135.8.

Rumman Raees

Rumman Raees could have had a better season in PSL 2023. He couldn’t meet franchise expectations and disappointed fans, too. He made his comeback after a serious injury. Rumman played 6 matches for Islamabad United and got only 6 wickets. Upon the franchise’s request in season 9, he was demoted from the Diamond Category. He will play PSL 9 in the Gold Category, representing Islamabad United.

Notably, players representing Pakistan’s national team in international matches must be kept from the Gold Category and exempted from Players Demotion in PSL 9.
