The Cricket World Cup 2023, a highly anticipated spectacle in the cricket world, has come to an end. India’s Muhammad Shami leads the 10 best bowlers of World Cup 2023 with 24 wickets. Muhammad Shami (Ind)

He was named in the Indian Cricket Team squad for the ICC World Cup 2023, which was held in India. He was benched for four matches until Hardik Pandya got injured and was ruled out of the remaining WC. He played his first match for India against New Zealand on October 22, in which he took 5/54, getting the man of the match award.

Then he took a match, winning 4/22 against England and 5/18 against Sri Lanka. Shami took 7/57 against New Zealand in the semi-final, which is his best figure. He broke many awards as a bowler in this World Cup. Muhammad Shami ended the World Cup 2023 as the most wicket-taker bowler, with 24 in 7 innings, becoming the most wicket-taking bowler in a single edition of the World Cup.

Marco Jansen is a South African left-arm fast medium pacer and right-handed batter. He has been included in the squad from 2021 as a bowling all-rounder. Jansen’s left-arm pace and ability to extract bounce from the pitch make him a formidable prospect. His height and smooth bowling action contribute to his effectiveness, causing discomfort to the batsman with his deliveries.

The New Zealand bowling all-rounder, left-handed batsman and slow left-arm orthodox bowler has been making his country proud in the cricketing world since his debut in 2015 across all formats. Santner was selected for New Zealand’s World Cup campaign, started by the defending champions by taking up 2 crucial wickets in the inaugural match.

Then, he took a fifer against the Netherlands, being awarded the man of the match award. Against Afghanistan, he took 3 pivotal wickets in the win. Overall, in this edition of WC, he took a total of 16 wickets, playing a significant role in being the 10 highest-wicket taker bowler.
