WWE visited Olimpic Arena in Barcelona, Spain for the March 14th episode of WWE SmackDown. The show featured a Miz TV segment with Cody Rhodes as the special guest. The Road to WrestleMania progressed on the first-ever SmackDown in Barcelona. Let’s head towards the details of WWE SmackDown March 14 Results.

US Title Bedlam

The show kicked off with the newly crowned US Champion, LA Knight. There were “Olé” chants followed by “You Deserve It” chants. Knight was excited after the warm reception and talked about gaining back the US Title. Before he could say much, Jimmy Uso came out. Uso talked about how he’s desperate and wants to challenge Knight at WrestleMania for the US Championship.

The Bloodline interrupted and Solo demanded a US Title match for Jacob Fatu. Jimmy teased Solo about his loss at the debut episode of WWE Raw on Netflix. The Bloodline rushed to the ring and attacked Jimmy and Knight. Braun Strowman made the save. Nick Aldis came out and started a six-man tag match right there.

Grades: B-

Analysis: It was a decent segment to kick off the first-ever SmackDown in Barcelona. WWE could have gone with a slightly better option though. It was soothing to see Jimmy Uso getting involved in a meaningful story after a long time. The US Title picture looks interesting and multiple talents are chasing the championship on the Road to WrestleMania 41.

The US Champ laid down The Bloodline. A distraction by Sikoa allowed his side to take control again and they dominated Knight for quite some time.

Strowman finally got the tag and he took out everyone at ringside. Jimmy and Knight landed dives on Fatu and Sikoa at ringside. In the ring, The Monster brought home the win with a Running Powerslam on Tonga. The Bloodline executed a post-match attack, mostly targeting Strowman.

Randy delivered a superplex from the top rope followed by RKO for the victory. Orton picked Hayes up and showed some respect but Melo had nothing to do with it. This infuriated The Apex Predator who delivered another RKO and prepared for the Punt Kick. Kevin Owens rushed to the ring and pulled Hayes out of the ring.

Winner: Randy Orton

Analysis: Randy Orton is back better than ever and looked in great rhythm throughout the match. This story revolves around the Punt Kick and WWE won’t give us one until WrestleMania.

Gunther vs Axiom

The World Heavyweight Champion Gunther teased the crowd with their arch nemesis in football, Madrid. After a bit of trash-talking about his WrestleMania opponent, Jey Uso, The Ring General provided an opportunity to the Spanish star Axiom. The NXT Superstar made his entrance for the match.

The NXT tag team champion tried to fight but got laid out by Gunther with a chop. Axiom kicked out of a powerbomb. He later executed a hurricanrana off the top rope on Gunther for a two-count. In the end, The Ring General finished the match with a powerbomb and two vicious lariats.
